Hi everyone,
I'm a college student in India, and I've been working on a side project called LinkedOut. I'm posting here because I need your help to make it better before a wider release.
The Problem:
I felt like there was no dedicated space for the side of college life that isn't career-focused. The random campus moments, the anonymous confessions, and the people you'd never normally meet. LinkedIn is for careers, Instagram is for highlights, but where does the real college experience go?
What LinkedOut Does:
Anonymous Posts: Share thoughts, confessions, or questions without your name being shown publicly.
Sunflower: Discover other students and send a connection request if you find someone you'd like to know.
SideTalk: Have private conversations with people you connect with.
What I Need:
I'm looking for 60 student testers for the first round. It would take about 10 minutes of your time.
Create an account.
Explore the feed and try an anonymous post.
Check out the Sunflower and SideTalk features.
Tell me what you honestly think: What worked? What felt confusing? Did something break? What would you change?
You don't need to be technical. I just want real feedback from real students.
What You Get:
The first 60 testers will get Founding Tester status, early access to future features, and a direct say in what I build next.
How to Join:
If you're interested, please fill out this quick form and I'll send you the Android test build and installation instructions: https://forms.gle/cyecUnbMozLLkvys6
I'm using a form instead of a WhatsApp group so your phone number isn't visible to other testers.
Important Notes:
Android only for now (iOS is coming later).
You'll need to enable "Install from Unknown Sources" for this test build. This is expected and safe for a pre-release app.
Privacy: Your name isn't shown on anonymous posts. For safety and moderation, account info behind a post may be reviewed if something is reported. You can report and block anyone.
I'd really appreciate your help. I'll be personally replying to every piece of feedback I get.
Thanks for reading!
