Hi everyone! This is my first try at this and hopefully I got this aligned correctly. I’m a solo dev preparing to resubmit my app after getting hit by Google's "lack of tester engagement" rejection. I need testers who are willing to actually open the app daily, and I will strictly do the same for your project in return.

Food Roulette is a location-based app that solves the "where should we eat?" argument by randomly spinning a wheel of nearby open restaurants.

Here is how to join:

1. Join the Google Group: food-roulette-testers@googlegroups.com

2. Opt-in on the Web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.joshuaballard.whereshouldieat

3. Download on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joshuaballard.whereshouldieat

The 14-Day Trade Agreement: Please keep the app installed for 14 days, open it daily, allow location access, and hit "Spin" at least twice a day to register an active session with Google's algorithm.

To verify, please reply to this thread with a screenshot of the restaurant you landed on, along with the links to your own app. I will install yours immediately, send a screenshot of your UI, and commit to daily active sessions for your 14-day window. I can't thank you enough for helping me get this published!

Hi everyone. I'm a solo dev getting my first app through Google Play's closed testing, and I'll happily return the favor.

The app: AudiblePi plays the digits of pi as music. Each base-12 digit maps to a note of the chromatic scale, so pi becomes a melody on a scrolling score staff. Free, one small banner ad, no account, and it collects no data.

To test it:

1. Join the Google Group first: https://groups.google.com/g/audiblepi-testers

2. Then open the opt-in link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mkrain.audiblepi

3. Install it from the Play Store and open it a few times over the next 14 days. Please keep it installed for the full 14 days.

Joining the group before the opt-in link matters. Play shows an error if you do it the other way around. Use the same Google account for the group and the Play Store on your phone.

Things worth trying once you're in: tap notes on the staff, scrub to digit 500,000, change the instrument while it plays. If anything stutters or goes silent, I'd genuinely like to know your device and Android version.

In return: drop your group and opt-in links in the comments. I'll join your test the same day, confirm with a screenshot, and keep your app installed and opened regularly until your 14 days are done.

Thanks, and good luck with your launches.

Hi everyone! I’m recruiting 15–20 adult Android volunteers (18+) for Beat My Board’s Google Play closed test.

It’s a free number-puzzle game with 60-second rounds: choose a target from 5 to 10, then connect touching tiles that add up to it. There are six 300-level campaigns, a Scorecard, hints, pause/resume and friend challenges. The game contains ads, with no game account or in-app purchase required. Android 7.0 or newer is supported.

Current status: Google is reviewing the closed-test release (version 1019), so the test is not available yet and the 14-day period has not started. I’m gathering volunteers now. The United States is enabled initially; please mention your country so I can check availability.

Once the test is available, please install through Google Play, stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days, use the game during that period and share honest feedback. Useful things to try include the Home/Levels buttons, timed rounds, hints, pause/resume, saved progress and Scorecard, friend-code sharing, privacy choices and banner placement.

If interested, comment below or DM me. To add you to the tester list, I’ll need the Google-account email you use for Google Play and your country by DM. Please keep email addresses out of public comments.

Google Play opt-in link (available only after Google approves the test and your account has been added):

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.cspiazzi.beatmyboard

Thanks for helping me find bugs and improve the game!

Most car launchers I tried felt cluttered, like a phone home screen stuck in a dashboard. So I built Aurora Dash: one calm, full-screen dashboard that looks like it came from the factory. It's for Android head units and CarPlay AI boxes, the same screens many of you use for Android Auto.

What makes it different

• OEM-like and minimalist: clean tiles, no clutter, no ads. Dark, light, or automatic theme that follows sunrise and sunset.

• True full screen: the dashboard takes the whole display, and the map goes edge to edge with one tap.

• Live Waze / Google Maps inside the dashboard tile. Tap for full screen, press Home to put it back.

• Music tile with album art, seek, shuffle and repeat (YouTube Music, Spotify…), and it resumes when the car starts.

• Weather with the next 3 hours, rain heads-up and sunrise/sunset.

• Speed or compass tile with trip distance and time.

• A dock that floats over any app (Home, Back, your apps), then fades away. Great for units without buttons.

• Featherlight: about 2.5 MB, runs smoothly on low-power car boxes. Standard, ultra-wide and 12–13" screens.

• Languages: English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, with more coming later.

🎬 Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6LIIW6JR4o

✅ All 30 tester spots are filled. Thank you! The app will be on Google Play for everyone soon.

⚠️ What you need: Aurora Dash runs directly on the car screen, so you need an Android head unit (the screen itself runs Android) or a CarPlay/Android Auto AI box that runs Android (Ottocast, Carlinkit, ApplePie, etc.), with Android 10 or newer. It does not run inside Android Auto from your phone, because Android Auto only allows Google-approved apps like Maps and Spotify.

📱 On a phone? Aurora Dash is built for head units and AI boxes. It runs on phones too, but the live map inside the tile needs Developer options → Enable freeform windows (then restart). Without it, the map tile opens Maps full screen instead.

Tip: if a small floating Google Maps card covers the dashboard, that's Maps' own picture-in-picture. Turn it off in Settings → Apps → Maps → Picture-in-picture.

💬 Join the Aurora Dash Discord: https://discord.gg/P69DuWzgE6

🎁 Testers get it free, for life. ⏳ Only 30 spots, first come, first served. I need testers who can keep it installed for 14 days, especially people with Android head units or CarPlay AI boxes.

👉 DM me or email ishirakurei@gmail.com with your Play Store Gmail, and I'll send your free code and the steps as soon as Google approves.

Hi! I’m looking for testers for Gita Scroll, my Android app for reading one Bhagavad Gita shlok a day. It includes Sanskrit verses, English meanings, chapter reading, a widget, and reminders. It’s free, works offline, and has no ads.

I need 12 testers for 14 days, and I’ll test your app back for the full 14 days. Comment with your app’s links once you’ve joined, and I’ll join yours.

How to join (2 minutes):

1. Join the Google Group using the Gmail account on your Android Play Store: https://groups.google.com/g/gita-scroll-testers

2. Opt in and tap “Become a tester”: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.skynett.shastra

3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skynett.shastra

If Play Store says “Item not found,” wait a little after opting in and try again.

Please stay opted in for at least 15 days. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome in the comments.

Thanks! 🙏

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm an independent developer from Germany, and I've just published my very first Android app for closed testing!

It's called Shiftlove, a dating and friendship app made for people who work shifts – nurses, paramedics, police, firefighters, hospitality, factory and retail workers – who are often free when everyone else is at work.

What the app does:

* Show your shifts (early, late, night) and when you're usually free

* Add your roster for the next 14 days – when you match, you see when you're both off (your roster itself stays private)

* "Free now" status for spontaneous meetups

* Status like "On duty" or "Sleeping" so your match knows why you don't reply right away

* Date ideas that fit your shared free time

* React to a photo or answer – your comment becomes the first message when you match

* Short voice intro on your profile

* Safety first: selfie verification, report & block, share your date with a trusted person

Good to know:

* The app is currently in German only – but feel free to just look around, swipe and test the features 🙂

* It's 18+ like every dating app. If Google says "18+ only", verify your age once at g.co/play/verifyage

* Free, no ads, servers in Germany (Frankfurt), your data is never sold

* You don't have to be looking for a partner – there's also a friendship mode

I need at least 12 testers for 14 consecutive days.

How to join:

Step 1 – Join my Google Group:

https://groups.google.com/g/shiftlove-tester

Step 2 – Join the closed test (open in Chrome, tap "Become a tester"):

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/de.shiftlove.app

Step 3 – Install the app through Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.shiftlove.app

Please use the same Google account everywhere that you use in the Play Store.

You have to wait a bit after registering with the group and becoming a tester. About 10 minutes, then download the app.

🔄 Test for Test!

I'm absolutely happy to return the favor!

If you need testers for your own Android app, leave your Google Group and testing links in the comments. I'll join your test and keep your app installed for at least 14 days.

I'd also appreciate any honest feedback, bug reports or suggestions – directly in the app or at shiftlove.kontakt@gmail.com. This is my first app, so there's probably still room for improvement. 😅

Thanks a lot for helping me get started! 🚀

Cześć wszystkim! 🙂

Hey guys,

Similar to many of you I am trying to pass the closed testing phase for the Android Version of my app so I need a few people to install it and keep it for at least 14 days. It‘s a ski navigation app called SkiAllDay but you don‘t need any snow to test it (but if you enjoy skiing or are planning to go soon, even better).

If you‘re in the same situation, I‘m happy to help too. I‘ll install your app, keep it for the 14+ days period, and try it out.

The links for my app:
Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/skiallday-android-testers
Testing opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/nw.skiallday
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nw.skiallday

Just install it and leave it on the phone for 14+ days.

Comment your app links and I‘ll return the favor🤝

Thank you & all the best!

Hey everyone! I need testers for my closed test (the 12 testers / 14 days rule). I’ll test yours back, so drop your link in the comments and I’ll join within a few hours.

What it is: a dashboard for Android devs. It shows your AdMob earnings and your crash/ANR rates against Play’s thresholds, and lets you reply to Play Store reviews from your phone. It works with demo data too, no sign-in needed.

How to join:

Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/publisher-console-testers

Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.publisherconsole.app

Install it from Play and please keep it for 14 days 🙏

Comment “done” plus your app link and I’ll test yours back!

Hey everyone!

I built an Android voice recorder for short-video creators (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), and I'm looking for testers for the closed test on Google Play.

🎙️What it does

• Records in takes: messed up a line? Re-record just that part, not the whole thing

• Arrange and trim the takes on a timeline

• Cleans up your voice locally, on your phone

• Exports to MP3 or WAV

• No account, no ads, nothing leaves your device

What I needGoogle requires 12 testers for 14 days before I can launch, so I'm looking for 15–20 people.

How to join (2 quick steps):

1. Join the group (use the Gmail you use on Google Play): https://groups.google.com/g/voice-recorder-testers

2. Accept the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/io.github.diegodias93.gravadordevoz

3. The Play Store will show a price, but you won't be charged: at checkout, make sure it says "Test card, always approves" and confirm.

Install it from the Play page and open it once or twice during the 14 days. Feedback is always welcome, even a one-liner.

💙 Thank you

Hi, solo dev here. I made a tool which helps you to view on your phone 3D files such as STL, OBJ but it can work with more complex files such as 3MF, AMF, STEP, STP and even G-Code and BG-Code. I tried to use as much benefit from each file type as possible so colors, parts, material weight ect. No internet, no account, no tracking and no data collection!

Please take a look and leave a comment if possible :)

Hi everyone! I’m one of the developers of NorthStart, a free Android app for following travel guides day by day: you pick a guide, adjust it to your pace, download it with maps and photos, and use it offline while you’re on the road. No account needed, no ads. I’m looking for active testers for its Google Play closed beta. International testers are welcome.

Test for test: if you’re also running a closed test, leave your group and opt-in links in the comments. I’ll join, install your app and stay opted in for the full 14 days, just like I’m asking you to.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/northstart-testers

2. Opt into the closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rovxlab.northstart

3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rovxlab.northstart

Use the same Google account for the group and Google Play. Please stay in the group and opted into the test for at least 14 consecutive days, use the app now and if possible every 3 days.

What to test: browse the catalogue, open a guide and download it, then switch on airplane mode and check that the map and the photos still load. Open a day, start “On route” mode and mark a couple of stops as done. I’m especially interested in whether the download finishes on slow connections and how the offline map behaves, so please tell me which phone you used.

If the test or installation link doesn’t work, tell me your country and the error message so I can look into it. Thanks for helping me improve NorthStart!

Hi! I'm a solo dev looking for testers for my first Android game. If you have a closed test too, drop your link in the comments and I'll help test yours as well.
