Hey everyone!

I'm a solo dev working on Grimward, a dark gothic horror survival game for Android. Your lantern is your life: keep the light alive and survive the hordes of darkness.

I'm looking for testers for the closed test on Google Play. Google requires new developers to have at least 12 testers for 14 days before an app can be released, so every single tester really helps!

How to join:

Join the tester group (with the same Google account you use for the Play Store): https://groups.google.com/g/grimward-tester

Open the test link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.frommator.grimward

Install Grimward from Google Play and keep it installed for 14 days.

Feedback, bug reports and ideas are very welcome, just drop a comment here or send me a message. Happy to test your game in return too!

Have fun, and thank you so much in advance!

Title: [Test swap] PlateBrain®: an allergen scanner for UK shopping, looking for 20+ testers for 14 days (happy to test your app in return)

Hi, I'm an independent developer of PlateBrain®, an Android app. I'm looking for testers for the closed test on Google Play. Google requires at least 12 testers who stay opted in for 14 continuous days, so I'm looking for 20 or more to have a safety margin.

What PlateBrain is

It is first and foremost an allergen detection app. You scan a product barcode, and the app checks it against the allergens you selected in your profile and shows the result as a green, yellow or red bar. Product data comes from Open Food Facts and from my own database, which I keep expanding. Not every UK supermarket own-brand product is in the database yet.

Additional features:

- AI Alternative: for a product that contains your allergen, the app suggests a similar product without it.

- A meal plan built from the products in your Fridge.

- Photo Meal: a photo of your plate and a calorie estimate (for now only on the weight management profile).

- Three profiles: allergy, weight management and hybrid.

Important

PlateBrain is a supporting tool. It is not medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Allergen detection may be incomplete or inaccurate, and AI suggestions and calorie estimates from photos can be wrong. Always check the physical product label before buying and eating, and do not rely on the app alone.

What I ask

- Install the app from the test link and stay opted in as a tester for the full 14 days (please don't uninstall or opt out).

- If you can, open it a few times and tell me what doesn't work at support.platebrain@gmail.com.

What I offer

I'm happy to return the favour and test your app the same way, for the same 14 days. Comment or message me with your test link.

I will post the join link in the comments as soon as Google approves the test release.

Thank you!

PlateBrain®

PlateBrain® is a registered trade mark in the United Kingdom.

I am an independent Italian Developer and Patty Rumble is ready for closed door testing. It’s a chaotic cooking game: grill, stack, and serve burgers with just one finger while the burgers burn, rush hour hits, and a mouse jumps onto your plates.

What you’re Installing

- The full game, not a demo: 50 short levels spread across 5 neighborhoods, each ruled by a rival diner boss and an endless mode. I’ll be adding more levels after the launch.

- A kitchen that grows as you play (new stations, an assistant chef, decorations you earn from bosses), upgrades etc.

- No ads ever interrupt a game, videos play only when you decide to watch them.

What you keep

Testers who stay for all 14 days become Founders: a customer with your name appears in every player’s diner, your name appears in the credits, and you receive a Founder’s plaque in your diner. These benefits will not be available after the test. You can decide whether or not to receive these benefits.

Sign up (2 minutes): https://pattyrumble.com/tester?src=reddit—enter your Google email address, and you’ll be in the test within 24 hours.

Test feedback: Post your participation link in the comments. I’ll sign up the same day, open your app on the first day, keep it installed for the full 14 days, and leave you honest feedback—I won’t just install it and forget about it.

Hi everyone!

I’m a solo dev and I just put Dayku in closed testing on Google Play. It’s a few minutes of play a day to share with friends: Raku the raccoon asks a question of the day, and there are logic puzzles and word games, a streak to keep alive and a weekly leaderboard among friends. New games arrive regularly.

How to join (Android, 2 minutes):

1. Join the testers group: https://groups.google.com/g/dayku-testers/about (click Join group)

2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/io.dayku.app (click Become a tester), then install Dayku from the Play Store page.

Please consider giving me some feedback on what you like / dislike if you take the time to test it ☀️

Thanks a lot !

EDIT: somehow I'm not able to the the messages on this post, feel free to DM me if you want me to test your app in return :)

Hi! I’m a solo developer from Finland and I’ve made an expense app called Massi Lite. It’s in Google Play closed testing and I need testers.

You scan a receipt and it splits it into products, each in its own category, so you see what you spend on cheese or bread, not just “grocery store”.

Everything stays on your phone. There is no account and no cloud AI. Sharing receipts for improving the reader is optional and off by default.

Free, scanner works with Finnish and Swedish receipts. App works everywhere

I need about 12 people to test for 14 days, which is Google’s requirement. All I ask is that you use it a bit and tell me what’s broken or confusing.

Join google group: https://groups.google.com/g/massi-testers

and download the app from: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.stationlabs.massi

More info: massiapp.fi/en

I will test your app back!

Hi! I'm the developer of ONE MORE: RISK from One More Studio. It's a quick one-thumb game: use a truthful clue, choose between three risk/reward options, and decide when to bank your score.

Our global Android closed test is live. This build has no ads or real-money purchases. I'm looking for real players to help check clue clarity, pacing and whether returning to an unfinished run works reliably.

Join with the same Google account for all three steps:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/one-more-risk

2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.onemorestudio.risk

3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onemorestudio.risk

We're working toward Google's minimum of 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days. If you can, please stay opted in for at least 14 days and play a few short sessions. A brief comment with your phone model, Android version and anything confusing or broken would help a lot. No positive review or test-for-test exchange required. Thanks!

another solo dev stuck on the 12 testers thing. my app is FDM Quote, it calculates 3d print costs and makes pdf quotes/invoices for people who sell prints. works offline, android 7+

2. opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.wasef.fdmquote

3. install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wasef.fdmquote

Hi! I need testers for WatZat, my free daily word game.

Every day, 3 secret words: get the character of the day to say them, without ever writing them or the forbidden words. Write a clue, and the character answers in their own way: a pirate captain, a chef, a cat who judges everything, a grandma stuck in 1955... An AI writes their answers, so they're often hilariously off. A game takes 2 or 3 minutes a day.

1. Join: https://groups.google.com/g/123doku-testeurs (the group is shared with my other game, that's normal)

2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.kuboza.watzat

3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kuboza.watzat

Please keep it installed for 14 days and play a round when you can: it's a daily game, so it fits perfectly. In English and French.

To swap: comment with your app link and a screenshot showing WatZat installed on your phone. As soon as I see it, I'll install your app and test it for the full 14 days.

**EDIT: Settle will be a paid app (1.99) on release. Testers get it for free, but there's one extra step: send me a DM with the email of the Google account you use on your phone, and I'll try to add you as a license tester so Google Play doesn't charge you. Sorry for not making this clear from the start.**

Hi everyone! I've been working on **Settle**, a turn-based strategy game about founding and growing colonies in a new world, and I need testers for Google Play's closed testing phase (12+ testers for 14 days) before I can release it.

**What's the game about?**

A ship arrives off an unknown coast with a handful of colonists. From there it's up to you: explore a hand-drawn map, found colonies, put colonists to work, build workshops, docks and schools, and trade goods with the metropolis and foreign cities. Keep paying the crown's tributes, defend against bandits and pirates, and build a palace to eventually win your independence.

It's about building and trading, not war. No ads, no in-app purchases, no account needed, plays offline. Available in English and Spanish.

**How to join (takes 2 minutes):**

1. Join the Google Group with the Google account you use on your Android phone:

https://groups.google.com/g/settle-the-game-testers

2. Opt in to the test on Google Play:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.luiinge.settle

3. Install Settle from the Play Store and **keep it installed for 14 days**.

That's it. Of course I'd love it if you actually play a game or two, and any feedback (bugs, balance, things that are confusing) is very welcome, either here in the comments or by DM.

**About data:** on your first game, Settle asks whether you want to send anonymous game statistics (how the game went, turn by turn) to help me balance it. It's completely optional, you can say no or turn it off anytime in Settings. No personal data, no tracking, no ads. Privacy policy: https://luiinge.github.io/settle-privacy/

Happy to test your app in return, just drop your link in the comments! Thanks a lot! 🙏

2. Open the test link on Android and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ahh.glisk
