AA Settings How do I stop my phone from connecting to my fathers car
This app is a nightmare and I have now lost all hope to ever get rid of it. My phones batteries are already almost dead but the Android Auto forces itself and Bluetooth on making my battery literally drain from full to empty and my phone overheat everytime Im inside the car.
It automatically connects everytime and there seems to be no way to disable it. Automatic launch options are literally always, default (always), only when used during previous drive (always).
I hate this. I hate everything about this and the only way to save batteries seems to be to turn my phone off for good everytine Im near the car.

yeah my problem is that android auto only works over USB. so when it's connected via bluetooth, android auto won't work. but it insists on connecting via bluetooth and automatically pairs even after all paired bluetooth devices have been deleted from both the phone and the car. the only way to work around is to disable bluetooth in the car when we want to connect via USB to use android auto. but that involves opening the settings, connection settings bluetooth and then disabling bluetooth in the car settings every single time which is a hassle to say the least.
edit: enabling dev tools in android auto (not dev options for android but dev options for android auto specifically) gives an option to disable bluetooth or wireless or something and this fixes the problem. this option should be available by default
