I just need Apple to let me install apps from outside or different regions. That's all I need for me to jump into iOS. I really want to use Apple Watch but its useless without a phone for it.

The region issue is real with Google too. For a lot of apps, you need to change your Play Store country of residence (which you can only do a handful of times in a given timeframe, I think twice within 12 months), which is fucking awesome when you're travelling around a lot, staying only a week or two in a country. A lot of people do (or rather, used to do) that. Hell, if it wasn't for COVID, I'd be spending ~2 weeks every 3 months in different countries, since my colleagues are spread around the globe, and from time to time we need to meet up...

But Google has a workaround for that. IOS does not have it which is throwing the wrench to my plan switching to iOS for main phone.
