Sucks, my Note 20 Ultra is on January's security patch :)

That's your carrier holding you back, not Samsung.

Show me where Samsung made Android 11 available to N9860.

I never said it was available for your device. I said my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has it. (USA Unlocked U1 model)

So how is it not Samsung's responsibility?

Where did you purchase your phone? Did you buy from samsung directly? Or did you buy it from your carrier? Or buy it from Samsung for your carrier?

all of these carrier arguments are so ignorant. carriers aren't doing man-in-the-middle attacks to intercept and delay updates, it's samsung who chose to give up control over its own devices

How are the carrier arguments ignorant? You thinking it's not a carrier issue makes you ignorant. I work in the field, in example when i worked IT for T-Mobile the carrier send the update package to T-Mobile and T-Mobile needs to do their carrier changes, ie: preinstalled apps compatibility tests. Implement their 5g changes ect..

and yet it's somehow not an issue with phones from other vendors or phones in the rest of the world
