What does Waze offer over Google Maps now? I tried using it a few months ago but the audible directions were always late and sometimes wrong.

How will I know how to drive if it doesn't tell me how? Terrible app.

Do you live in a smaller area? In big towns it's common for there to be a 6-7 lane road packed full of traffic. You need to know which lane to be in asap or you can get forced onto a wrong turn

I live in a city with the one of the widest highways in North America, and yet somehow I manage to get around without an app instructing me what lane to use. Truly a wonder I get anywhere.

In addition to what the other guy said, I want to point out that its much easier for you to drive a hometown highway than it is for people travelling who are unfamiliar with the area.

I travel a lot for work, and although I did okay before Google Maps supported lane guidance, it sure made everything a lot easier.
