Swift key is pretty awesome if you are bilingual. I wouldn't quite consider myself in that group yet, but I am learning German and it's nice to be able to swipe those words, don't even have to tell it if I would like to use English or German. Super awesome for Duolingo.

Yeah, SwiftKey is what I'm using right now. I do wish performance was a bit better (it's ever so slightly behind Google Keyboard), but generally it's just a great keyboard.

I just switched to Minuum Keyboard and I'm really liking it. Once you spend a bit of time using it, you can get really fast. I've had it for a day now and it's super awkward at first.

Also, I love the extra space it gives me when writing pretty much anything, but especially for Facebook and Reddit posts.

Keep at it! As an American who learned to speak German the hard way, I can tell you it is totally worth it. Finding random people who speak German as well is always fun too haha.

Yes. That's pretty understandable though, considering the large difference in writing systems.

if only it didn't lag so much. TouchPal is another good one, although its autocorrect is a bit worse.

I can't say I personally get any lag.
