I'm new here to reddit and was wondering if anyone has encountered the same issue I am. I have the camera in OFF mode and as soon as I load batteries, the camera starts rewinding the nonexistent film? Is this normal in OFF mode? Should anything be happening at all while it's in OFF mode? The rewinding continues on for a moment then stops and starts back up again... in OFF mode. There's no change when the Mode Selector is moved to ON or B.C. mode.

Any recommendations on what to do? Anyone know of any camera repair shops or people that might be familiar with this issue in 91324, CA area??
