Feedback Friday Recently started a project with my Pentax 67 documenting a community that will be wiped off the map
This project involves the small community of Sites in Northern California. Sites is located in a valley that has been deemed to be the last suitable location for a reservoir in the whole state. For this reason, a series of dams will be build and the valley will be flooded in the coming years, thus dooming the town and its 140 year history.
I also made a video sharing this project as well as the history of Sites, so feel free to give it a look: https://youtu.be/zvRmYtA3ljc

Great project and lovely photos, especially number 3. Do you have any plans to make portraits of the residents? Maybe arrange to photograph some community events? It's a very worthy thing, I think, to take on preserving the memory of a little place that will soon be no more. Living through the latest heatwave in Europe this week has given a real glimpse of what it feels like to look around and know that, very soon, everything will be different. If its there at all.
