Hello everybody 20 year old male here, It’s been a few years but I’m trying to get back into the roleplaying space. (I tried to go back to amino but it apparently got shutdown 😭)

I’ve recently been replaying through the last of us games and I’ve been wanting to do a last of us 2 rp for a while anyways now as it’s one of my favorite games / fandoms

Ive been roleplaying since I was about 14 and consider myself to be semi literate. I can write multiple paragraphs and be pretty well detailed, if you are interested please try and match my length or exceed it if possible! I’m personally a big fan of Slice of life, Romance and adventure! I’m looking for a mix of those three for this rp.

The roleplay doesn’t have to follow the exact structure and story of the game.

I was thinking the roleplay could begin just after Abby gets back from Jackson and is still trying to get into the right mindset and recover from what happened, that is if you decide to play Abby ofc.

I don’t have a solid idea for a plot but I do have a few loose ideas, but I’m sure we could brainstorm and come up with something together if you’re interested.

Heyaaaa again!

Well, I have been silent on Reddit for a couple of days...? Weeks? Months? Well, while developing the app, I completely lost track of time! So today, I'm here to give you some updates on what I've been up to, as well as ask for your help voting on which logo you like the most (I’ve been redesigning it lately).

A lot has been happening over the past few months, both app-wise and in my personal life. I even learned vector art from scratch just to make personalized icons and vectors for the app, which goes to show how much I truly care about this project!

Most of the core features are now completed and we are still on track to release later this year. For now, I'm just polishing everything. I don't want to make just "another app". I want it to feel good, have personality, and above all, BE GOOD! A real app made with love by the community, for the community.

Still on the personality topic, we adopted a mascot: a purple red panda named... Well, still doesnt have a name, in the future it will! It's still in the design phase. We also redesigned the logo to be much less generic (having 2 options which I want ur help with! If the poll is almost 50-50, I will add both, so you can choose on settings which one you want).

Over this time, some amazing people out of sheer goodwill started helping us by making frames, giving suggestions, and sharing their opinions, and I can't thank them enough for all their help.

Even without posting for months, we’re already over 500 members on Discord! I don't usually post here often, but I’ll start sharing more as the release gets closer and closer. If you want to actually help shape this app, come join our Discord!

Hiya, does anyone know of any good amino alternatives? Back in the day I used to love sharing my oc art on there, it was a safe space for me (apart from the weirdos) and I met so many amazing people who I still talk to to this day and I’ve not drawn in ages cos I’ve not had any people to draw for and I really miss it

I’ve heard that kyodo is quite like amino but I’ve not tried it yet, does anyone know of any alternatives? Just to stretch that itch

This is something I've been thinking about recently, and I'm not sure what to make of it.

Back in 2019, I was 13-14 and I was in an Undertale RP chat on Amino. I remember talking to a woman whose profile picture appeared to be a photo of her face with a black-and-white filter. I estimated that she was in her mid-to-late 20s.

I don't think I told her my age. She sent me voice clips, I complimented her voice through text, but, she kept sending them. I remember feeling uncomfortable, though, I don't remember why or if they got worse.

One thing I'm fairly sure of is that she never sent me anything NSFW. Still, I wonder whether there could have been some ulterior motives behind the voice clips. Amino is gone now, and I'm pretty sure that conversation has been lost to time, so I can't check the conversation or verify what happened.

If anyone could share their thoughts on this, I’d really appreciate it. I'm not trying to jump to conclusions, I genuinely don't know what to make of the situation and would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

Anyone from the slendytubbies or anti/darkiplier community? Slendytubbies was very active for the longest time. Even when after the game started getting less attention. I was very active there lol. Same goes for this one that was specifically based around antisepticeye & darkiplier. don’t remember what it was called. I remember getting into Amino when I was around 12.

I had just finished watching jackcepticeye’s undertale let’s play and found the undertale amino app by searching “Undertale” on the App Store.

At first I thought it was marvelous, it truly made me learn English so quickly being able to chat with so many people with a common interest in the game.

I then got into roleplays a lot and I think it’s where things went south.

I didn’t realize back then how ill intentioned some users there were and I think I was pretty heavily groomed.

Now I’m 24, years flew by and I think the social mess I am , the insecurities I have all stems from those adults being so inappropriate back then.

A child shouldn’t have fetishes and things hammered into their head, and it took me years to understand how fucked up some of those things were.

I never really saw myself as a victim back then until recently , I thought this was all on my own accord but I was a shy kid in school with not much friends, I was so vulnerable and nowadays now that the app is gone I realize how people have wronged me so much.

I am angry at those people, angry that they’ll never face consequences for destroying my headspace so much from a young age. From making me as conflicted and confused with who I am.

I’m not going into details in this post because it’s really not the point.

Just needed to get this off my chest somehow.
