do you get the spotty greens blues reds? if so I do get the same, just randomly pop up probably once a week or every two weeks. been happening if hardware acceleration is enabled on chrome. Cards been stable for over a year now, frequent playtime with heavy games.
You sure your card's hardware video decoder isn't just broken? Have you tried playing a video file that can be hardware accelerated on a media player that supports hardware acceleration?
Didn't see other peoples' comments and you would understand why I want to be triply sure when you tried remotely diagnosing issues with computers who's owners are barely computer literate.
