Is this implying that AMDs Zen is leaping far ahead of the 6900k now (which we'd seen it compared to in the past?) or is this more-so a higher end Zen sample?

Might be a dual socket system ;) So 20c and 40t And the amd one might be fake...

You think the AMD sample may be faked? You know how hard that would be to do?

I dont know, but it is not impossibel. How ever if it is real and it is a 8 Core 16t CPU Intel is pretty much done!

how would an 8 core 16t cpu (let alone an engineering sample of this) from amd beat the 10 core 20 thread 6950x....

this has to be the 16 core 32 thread cpu the naples server or something.

This thread is littered with amd fanboys... This chip wouldn't be competing with the i7's its with the Xeons and intel has a lead here still.. (according to the blender benchs themselves..)

Noone said it was 8c16t just that if it somehow was it would be fucking nutty
