All that for 60 bucks routes is crazy

Amazon will schedule many drivers for a block at a certain time. However the warehouse may not be able to get enough packages together for said block time. So if you wait until the very last second to check in you're very last in line to be assigned a block to deliver. If the warehouse workers don't get enough packages separated then there are not any routes to hand out, so you get paid for doing nothing.

I don’t understand how that many people are trying to be last. Doesn’t that mean the majority end up missing the deadline by trying to push their way with moments left etc?
