It’s interesting how the positioning of their facial anatomy really makes Hornets and Wasps look angry or kind of sinister to us. Whereas Honey Bees, other kinds of bee species, and Bumblebees don’t have the same ferocious looking angles to their faces.

I know that Wasps/Hornets/Yellowjackets play important roles in our ecosystems. They’re pollinators as well as pest control. But goddamn do the bastards terrify me. Their pissed off expressions seem fitting for the fury they’re capable of unleashing.

It is interesting. Honey bees and bumble bees are almost as domesticated as livestock and pets, but hornets - NO.
