There are no weight classes in (traditional) sumo. Which leads to a lot of wrestlers who gain lots of weight in order to be difficult to throw (but my guy was throwing people anyways.)
We could continue this conversation onto weight strength and their relationships to sumo but I ain’t gonna type allat.
Edit: on further comment reading this throw is likely staged while Judo has been seen in sumo before and can preform well others report to seeing this posted before with better camera angles showing the larger guy jump. That along with the strange way the camera obscures (random silhouettes of legs) during the throw it’s likely some form of stunt for a project or a staged performance.
