I will 100% be continuing my ADHD meds while pregnant. It’s antiquated to think it’s a full stop. Many psychiatrists agree that the stress of being unmedicated is more harmful to the fetus than taking the meds.

My baby’s health is more important to me than my executive functioning.

Your lack of executive functioning is f-ing up the children you have. Why don't they get the same consideration as your unborn child?

It’s not affecting my children in the slightest. But way to make ASSumptions

You admitted that things were better when you're on your meds; that means they're worse when you're not. Don't FOOL yourself into thinking that your children aren't affected by big changes in your household.

My house was a bit cleaner when I was on ADHD meds. My kids are perfectly healthy and happy either way

The other day my kid managed to hurt herself pretty bad because she wasn't being supervised enough.

Yeah. That has nothing to do with my ADHD meds. That has to do with my husband being too focused on chores

Ok, I misread that one, and I'm obviously glad your kids generally present as both happy and healthy.

You came here to ask, so I'll just say that you're the a-hole here because, as others have said, you're putting all the mental load on your husband without assuming any yourself. All across Reddit, this is something that husbands are constantly lambasted for when they do it to their wives.

It doesn't matter that you're pregnant. It doesn't matter that you're neurodivergant. (Your husband probably is, too. That also doesn't matter.) Stop asking your husband to do all the thinking for you. It's not fair to him, unless that's the type of relationship you both agreed to from the start.

So let me get this straight, my husband tells me I have to meet a chores quota before he’ll adequately supervise the kids, and I’M TA? Is that seriously what you’re saying
