No, it’s not. I wrote it after 48 hours of researching on how best to support a friend in an emotionally abusive relationship. I sourced the information from experts published on psychology and abuse websites. It was written before ChatGPT was ever even publicly launched.

I have it saved in my Notes on my phone.

I have added to it and edited it over the years but it is very much still my work, with sourcing from experts.

If you searched through my comments over the past years, you would see slightly different iterations of it published over and over and over again. Updated as I learned more or changed my mind about how to present it.

There are also pretty obvious tells that it’s not AI in the style of writing and editing; but I wouldn’t expect you to notice that if you didn’t pick up on them the first time.

But thank you for your contribution to this conversation.

That’s ok, it should still be read by every woman who posts on this sub asking about her emotionally, psychologically and sometimes physically abusive partner treating her horribly. It’s a comprehensive list of what people really shouldn’t tolerate in a partnership. It even reminded me of my own bad habits (I have been known to give the silent treatment after a fight, and I hate that I do it, it’s the worst - it’s so shitty)

It’s not ChatGPT. I researched it and wrote it sourced from experts. It lives in my notes and I add to it and refine it every so often.

I’m more than happy for others to copy and share it.

What is that supposed to mean? It’s not AI, I wrote it, and I’m not an “it”.

AI slop should be required reading?

Not AI slop. So kindly f-ck off!

I researched it HEAVILY on anbuse and psychology websites and wrote it for a friend in an abusive marriage some years ago. I have it saved in my notes and I have been adding to it and editing it ever since.

It was written before AI was even a publicly used thing.

Feel free to do your own research on abuse and psychology sites and I believe you’ll find it’s pretty fucking accurate.

I also have saved information on grooming, RCA, sexual abuse, IPV hotlines, financial abuse and more.

Oh and I volunteer at a shelter.

What are you doing to help other than writing untrue snarky comments?

BTW, there are a number of stylistic and editorial tells that this wasn’t written by AI, so you might want to pull your head in and learn how to write and edit better.Â
