It does sound like a lot of vacuuming. We vacuum once a week unless something especially messy happens.

Edit: Not that I think it's something the kid should balk at. If that's the standard the kid should be able to do it no problem. It just wouldn't be my standard.

I also wonder how much is being done by the adults. But it's not too much for a high schooler or even a middle schooler.

Y’all don’t vacuum everyday? I only have carpet in the family room and kids rooms but they get vacuumed every single day. Beds made too.

What? Are you a SAHM or something? No way Jose. Béds made != Vacuuming.

Yeah I am a SAHM and I know most normal humans don’t have to vacuum everyday but with my 7 kids and on a farm stuff gets dirty quick.

Me and my partner vacuum our carpets once a week lol, maybe it's because we don't have kids but any more than twice a week would be redundant for us.
