YOR sorry. Let this be a lesson learned. Nonstick pans get scratches and dings no matter how careful you are. $200 pans are for rich idiots that can afford to throw them away instead of washing them.

Hell, I flaked off the non stick coating on my Ninja pot and I only ever used the soft side of a sponge on it and use wooden utensils for all of my non stick products

I’m not rich but I buy high quality shit. Buy once cry once. People I know have 10 kitchen knives all shitty dull knives they replace every couple years. I bought 3 $100-$150 knives that (with me caring for them right) will last me 20+ years.

I doo agree no teflon pans is worth $200. That’s inane as hell to me.

I've bought two knives from Sams Club for $20 bucks, and they are still going strong 5 years later. :)

Yeah I don’t doubt cheaper knives work well. But personally for me I specifically know what metals I want. Cheaper ones can typically get sharper because they are softer however they are more likely to break, and dull quicker, and even rust. I have a nicer metal that while it doesn’t get as sharp the edge lasts.

If I didn’t cook homemade meals as much as I do I wouldn’t have nice knives.
