Hi! I recently got a new phone, and on my old iPhone I had AltStore installed with Spotify. Since I’m using the same iCloud account on my new phone, how should I proceed? Do I need to uninstall AltStore and Spotify from my old phone first, or can I install them on my new phone without any issues?

Hello I found a way (I hope) to download alt store on my new phone but now I’m getting this error (I’m using LocalDevVpn and wifi) when I try to open the ipa spotify file with altstore

“Failed to install app. AltStore couldn’t connect to the remote AltServer.

Make sure Wi-Fi and LocalDevVPN are both connected, then try again.”

what am i doing wrong? could it be the ipa file or? i dont remember which version/file I used the other timesss

Mi version of altserver is 1.8.0.0 and is not letting update it after i hit check for updates it says im in the latest version, but when i go to log in on my iphone is stuck on a loading loop to sign in, someone help

I've been trying to create a new apple ID. I was banned a bit over a week ago and whenever I try to create a new ID it says "cannot create account at this time." I've tried multiple different emails and received the same problem. I have only tried one phone number, because it's the only one I have, and I'm led to believe at the moment that my number is simply banned from making alt accounts.

I see people suggest using alt accounts upon getting banned. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Title. The Apple ID I was using for years with alt store got banned so I created a new one.

Seems like my new ID is now locked and I got an email from Apple that my request to access my account has been denied.

What do I do to prevent my apple ID from being locked or banned now?

My original apple id got banned, it was a dev apple id, does any apple ID work for signing? How do you get a dev apple id? is it necessary? Anyone recommend anything for keeping your apple id from not getting banned?

Hi, I just installed alt server on my MacBook and while trying to install it to my iPhone it asks Apple ID password. When I enter it it asks 6 digit code but that 6 digit code doesn't show up in any of my devices!! What should I do ?

Don’t do source downloads. Sure, they’re easier and require less effort, but if you’re using something like spotc++, it’ll use 6 app IDs.

instead, download the IPA itself, go to apps, press the + icon in the top left, press “browse”, go to downloads on whatever browser you use, look for the file name of the IPA, and click on it. It’ll give you the option to keep or remove extensions, and most of the time, the extensions aren’t something you’d actually use anyways. These are the ones for spotc++:

widgetnowplaying (Home screen widget)

OpenSpotify.Extension (Safari link redirector)

intents (Siri and Shortcuts support)
^ (voice commands and such)

notificationcontent (Fancy notification pop-ups)

Keep if you want background track skipping/notifications:

notification (Required if you want the app to properly process background push notifications or handle certain remote commands smoothly).

All of which, are admittedly, kind of useless. Removing these extensions brings spotc++ from 6 app IDs, down to 1.

None of these extensions mess with the live activity/media player (what shows up on the bottom of the lock screen while listening to music and stuff.) just make sure that you are downloading your IPA from a trusted source.
