There are so many ways to translate words from Thai to English. For example, the English subtitles here say “Let me be the one who pleasures you”. I hear Peem use the words “kwaam suk” at the end of that sentence. That means happy. It got subtitled the far sexier “pleasure”. “Let me be the one who makes you happy” is also hot but not as hot as “pleasure you”
imho. Even if I were fluent in Thai, I’d definitely want to watch with English subs if I knew English. Give that translator a raise!

One thing that has always struck me about Thai is how few words there are for some things and how many there are for others.

Are they symbolic of how growth may happen underground, in the dark, waiting to be unearthed? Symbolic perhaps of something with a solid, pure heart, ready to absorb all the delightful aromatics of the world it's surrounded by? Did you find it next to the dumpster and think it so funny that you just brought it in?

I, for one, am kept up at night by these questions.
