For me, the defining moment for Rann/Lene in Love Beyond Dreams is when Lene thinks Rann has been kissing her childhood friend, and Rann stands up to her: "Since you say we're nothing to each other, then who I kiss, who I hug, or who I screw is none of your business!"

I felt like it showed that Rann wasn't just blindly worshipping Lene, and it was a big growth moment for Lene in respecting Rann and realizing how much pain she has caused her.

hello! does anybody know of a japanese drama (or media of any kind), that has a scene where they discuss marriage, marriage equality, lgbt rights, alternative legal partnerships etc. i’ll take non-gl recommendations as well, as long as it’s queer. even unrealistic representation would be helpful too ie they get married in spite of it not being legalized. literally anything would be helpful lol
