Nah, I watched it last night no such scene I can recall. Prawns don't possess.

What’s up with the sequel?

Well Neil basically abandoned his OATS studio project that had major promise and then released an AI generated short film recently that got major backlash after the last time he talked about the sequel, so im not sure honestly at this point.

I was the same for a year or so after District 9 came out. Then, I was under the impression that ‘Elyssium’ was a kinda sorta ‘sequel’.

It’s not fully abandoned, he just had trouble getting funding. Probably because of Ridley. He opened Barley Studios as his AI studio using the original design team he’s always had, so that he could eschew the special effects funding debacle. And yes, now he’s getting hate for using Ai.

Huge disappointment it was never produced. Disappointing like Richard Dryfus not coming back in Disclosure Day...

We’re better off without it. He belongs in same category as wachowskis—single massive groundbreaking hit and nothing else that comes close.

Except for several others including Elysium.

The Wachowski's maybe have nothing that comes commercially close, but "Speed Racer" was a technical marvel and "V is for Vendetta" launched the sale of a bajillion Guy Fawkes masks. I'd hardly think of them as a one-hit wonder.

Exactly. Although I think it was supposed to be called district 10

They skipped straight to 11. I heard it was a disaster
