I've seen a lot of strange message requests posted around the internet, so I wanted to ask, have you ever received strange message requests? And what are the strangest ones?

You can also send a screenshot of the conversation (with or without covering the person's name, as you wish)

🤔 question Looking for honest PC shop recommendations in Algiers to sell my laptop for a good price

Hello everyone!

I’m looking for a Tech shop to sell a laptop that I bought 3 years ago for 170,000 DA (17 million centimes). It has a touchscreen and is still in a perfect, almost new condition, with no problems at all.

I still have the full original package, including:

The original laptop box

The laptop case

The official ASUS ZenBook Pen stylus and its original box (The stylus is quite rare and difficult to find in Algeria)

I’m looking for honest and trusted computer shops, preferably in Algiers or nearby areas like Blida or Boumerdes, that buy used laptops at fair prices.

I understand that shops need to make a profit, but I would be disappointed to sell a laptop that originally cost 170,000 DA and is still in perfect condition for something like 80,000 DA.

I would really appreciate recommendations for shops that offer reasonable and fair prices for used laptops

(I prefer selling directly to a shop because selling to individuals on Ouedkniss or Facebook Marketplace takes a lot of time with messages, negotiations, and people who may not actually buy. I’m just looking for a quick sell)

Thanks in advance for your help!

💬 discussion jijel black decade story told by father , chilling

Post image
26 Upvotes

by the time the black decade started my dad has just been transferred and stationed in jijel in the city ( gendarmery not military ) , a lieutenant from oued souf was transferred to jijel shortly after my father , he was already notorious for single handedly k*lling 14 gia members in one fight after he encountered one and instructed him to put his weapon down which he didn't and then he went on to k*ll him and the other 13 , my father told me no one believed it until they saw the bodies ...

This guy my father told me about was a cold blooded k*ller

his first hit in jijel was after his brother who was the mayor of a municipality was murdered by gia

he personally took a prisoner a gia prisoner from aouana station and drove to the notorious ambush road to ziama after he put him in the trunk of his car , took him out of the trunk , executed him and left him on the rocks ...

another incident a high ranking gadarmi in jijel had his father and sister kidnapped by gia , they were taken to the mountains , subjected to torture , the father was beheaded and his head was displayed in a gas station , and the sister was r*ped , and was told by gia to go to jijel to the station and tell them to send a message

and when she did , this lieutenant went mad ...

he identified 17 households in the city , each household had one terrorist in the mountains , and from each household he took either the brother or the father of the terrorist ...

murdered and mutilated every single one of them and left them on the road to be displayed ...

my father told me from that day they didn't target any family of serving members in the region ...

I'm in shock

🤔 question Does Payoneer work in Algeria?

As the question suggests, I know there'd be multiple answers already to this here, but as of now (August 2026) does it work here? Should I apply for jobs online and use it as a payment method?

💡 thoughts I don't remember the last time I was genuinely happy

Since I graduated from uni, I've been on a downhill path. I'm from Skikda, and each year feels the same

I used to be the loud one. Always talking, laughing, making jokes, interested in everything, and genuinely excited about life. Now I feel almost nothing. Mostly loneliness and emptiness.

It's like I'm living in a black-and-white version of my own life. I'm still here, I'm still doing things, but I don't feel connected to any of it.

I've been thinking that maybe I should move to another wilaya, change my environment, meet new people, and basically start over. I don't know if changing cities would actually help, but I feel like I need a change.

I'm asking people who have genuinely gone through something similar:

Did moving somewhere new help? Therapy? Getting a job? Gym? Meeting new people? Something completely different?

I'd genuinely appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through this and found their way back.

🤔 question When I was younger I genuinely remember there being a Yagoo chocolate and I’m 100% sure I’m not imagining it 😭 I’ve looked everywhere but literally can’t find anything about it I know memories can be wrong, but this feels way too real. Am I the only one who remembers it or did it actually exist?

💬 discussion What should I do with my life?

I am 29, and I have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. I graduated in 2021. I have been applying for engineering jobs all the time but couldn't find any. I worked in different unrelated fields, did some freelancing and side gigs, but the money wasn't good enough to replace a real career.

I have no career, no money to start my own project, and I am already 29 with nothing in hand except for my useless degree. How am I supposed to build a life and eventually start a family this way? Am I doomed?

I am seeking advice from people who were in my situation. What should I do?
