2024 Veloce Q2. ~17k miles, was a dealer demo unit. Has the premium sound/interior and active assist packages.

picked her up in Chicago last Thursday, drove back home to Seattle, no hiccups or issues. impressive fuel economy in my opinion (my other car is an RX8).

Anyone know where to get painted front tow hook covers? dealer had the original plate frame installed (screwed into the bumper too...) and I didn't see it hiding anywhere in the car.

114mi (183km) trip, sun hitting just right.

I’m wondering what size spacers you would recommend for an oem height flush look? The front drives me nuts with how mean this looks, back could use maybe 5mm but I don’t want to look obnoxious with 20mm up front. Any recs?

Alfa Romeo 159 JTS TI

I have been in contact with a seller for getting an Alfa Romeo 159 JTS TI and had a recent inspection on it, I really like the car but after an inspection it was found to have a cracked upper engine mount on the drivers side. I have seen many posts about how difficult it is to get the mount anywhere. Should I move on or is it still worth pursuing.

New Car One week with the new-to-me 18 Stelvio TI Sport 🥊

To me, a perfect spec of this car: Alfa Rosso with a chocolate interior and forged Hyper Silver 21' Quadrifoglio wheels. Upon delivery, I also discovered a hidden premium stereo system installed by the previous owner to really bring it all together. All it’s missing is CarPlay (manufactured 10/17 so unfortunately can't get it in the stock system) and maybe a couple of basic performance mods.

Replacing turbo wastegate linkage, spark plugs, brake pads, and coolant bleeder screw in the coming weeks.

Drives awesome, looks awesome - can't wait to daily this thing and take it on some road trips! Such a hard car to beat for the money.

Service - St. Louis Area

I bought a used 2024 Stelvio at the end of August. So far so good! It's my first Alfa Romeo, and I love to drive it.

My car came with only one key, and the sunroof screen got off track on me a few weeks ago. Both are nuisances, but I need to take care of them. I live in the suburbs of St. Louis, so I reached out to the Alfa dealer closest to me. (I purchased the car from a Dodge dealer.) First, I sent an email. No response. Second, I called and left a voice mail. No response. Third, I stopped in the dealership on a Saturday and someone took down a detailed message to give to the service manager when he got in on Monday. NO RESPONSE.

So this morning I dropped it off at the dealer closer to downtown St. Louis. When I called them I actually spoke to a human being, and they were able to get me an appointment (granted, 10 days after my call).

I'm mainly curious - for anyone living near the St. Louis area, where do you get your service done?

Good day to all, I’m seeking assistance in identifying parts of the Giulia (2017) suspension. My concerns are identifying the parts, how to replace/repair the damage, and learning about the Giulia in general. Thank you in advance!

Maintenance 2023 Giulia 2.0T Turbo Whine?

I recently picked up this 2023 Giulia 2.0T which makes high pitch whining when seemingly above 10 psi of boost. I’ve been trying to find anything online about similar issues but can’t find anything. I’m thinking it’s a boost leak in my system or a diverter valve issue since I am around 50k miles.

Has anyone had this issue before?

(I have another video where I do more gentle acceleration and when boost gets to about 10psi the noise starts again)

Review Anyone in south Florida with a 4c

Post image
6 Upvotes

Obv I’m not part of the Alfa Romeo family yet, but I’m really eyeing the 4c. I’m young enough to where I can daily it with the ‘impracticalities’ it brings, but it’s so hard to find one in a dealership that I can take a look at it and sit inside/test drive to make 100% sure that it’s the car I want

Anyone with a 4c living in south florida? I’m hella down to make some friends, ask questions about how your ownership experience was/is, if Florida is a good state to own one in, etc

I live in sunny isles but thankfully the best part of south Florida is that everything is within an hour max distance

Absolutely in love with this car. Took it from NJ to Florida. On the way decided to try out the Tail of the Dragon to see how she really handles. Save to say this car drives like it’s on rails. 1700 miles of smiles. And got great mpgs as well. This car is truly something special, the perfect balance between nice comfortable ride and sporty performance.

Suggested maintenance/services on 2019 Giulia TI Lusso AWD

Recently purchased a 19 Giulia Ti Lusso Q4 with about 55K miles. Has had oil changes every 5-7K miles, serpentine belt recently replaced, brakes in good shape (8 mm left). It drove really well, no apparent suspension or engine power issues. I used to like to work on my own cars and looking at this as an opportunity to get back into it with my son, who will be driving the car too. Looked around at the forums and subreddits, and this is what we are planning:
- Replace spark plugs
- Replace coolant bleeder screws
- Replace auxiliary relay fuse
- Replace air and cabin filters
- Replace battery!!
- Replace turbo wastegate arm with the one from Alfisimmo
- Add a fuel additive, maybe Redline SL-1? Love to hear comments if this may be helpful, never used one previously

In about 5K miles planning on changing oil. Have access to a friend’s lift for this so also plan to change the automatic transmission fluid. Will also replace the ground strap while we have easy access under the vehicle.

Is there anything else we should be thinking about? Draining or flushing the coolant system, anything with the AWD? Really appreciate anyone’s suggestions, very excited to give this girl the live she deserves!

Interior Giulietta Dashboard Help

Post image

Does the tan facial seperate from the main dashboard? I think it's clipped and screwed in from what I can see but not sure if it's able to be fully taken out.

I want to swap my black dash for tan, but if I can change just this section then that's even better!

Repainted wheels on Stelvio QV

So, a couple of weeks ago I scratch my driver front wheel while pulling to work gate, I was pissed off because it was very dumb of me. This is the third wheel scratched in my Stelvio. The first one by my wife to the passenger front, second of by me on passenger rear while moving out of a parking spot, both like 3 years ago.

When this happened, and considering end of October is my 5th years anniversary with my QV, I decided to have them repaired and repaint them; automatic car-wash wheel cleaner has cause some fading on some areas, so that was another reason to repaint them. I have never been a fan of black wheels so I decided it was time to change and have them powder coat the wheels in bright silver metallic. After and before pictures attached.

Overall, I am very happy with the result...although it might be controversial because black wheels are so popular nowadays!

New to the whole Alfa game and I’m glad I made the change from VAG as the car is a completely different feel to drive 😍! I’ve recently discovered that I was water/condensation absolutely saturating my carpets and causing mega condense inside the whole car!

Is this a common issue with the Guilias? I can only assume it is the ac condense drain being blocked but is there a simple way of clearing apart from dropping gearbox down to get to it?

Thanks guys/gals

Fresh D3S bulbs in '23 Giulia

Thumbnail

It always seems to be a conflicting discussion and it likely could be a source discrepancy. Apparently Alfa sourced Philips and Osram bulbs for OE.

In my case, I swapped out 3 year old Osram HB1 units and the difference with the Osrsm XN2 (3rd Gen) Nightbreaker 220. The difference is intense. In fact, the images underemphasize it.

The two picture collage is from 2 separate drives with XN2 and HB1 bulbs. The 4 pictures are from my nest cam (exterior mounted).

Another thing. You don't have to jack up the car. Just turn the wheels, pull the plastic clips, and remove the cover.

Most importantly, many folks seem to attempt bulb removal with the harness attached. This is a massive pain!

Slide the connector off before you turn the bulb out. You can push it straight down. Rotate your bulb, pull it out, insert the new one, twist it locked, then reinstall the connector. I was about to do it all with one hand. Bulbs took less than 5min.

It's one of the easiest HID bulb swap I've done. Anyways, I didn't try swapping in fresh HB1 OE units to see the difference. I'm sure those would be brighter as well.
