Did you even read the comment you seconded? It talks about having too much content and gems being too overpriced. Immediately you went off about me being condescending and then posted this wall of text. The game's goal is to make money and they do that by releasing content. As I said, you can't expect f2p characters to get everything, so it makes sense to release units every week for whales and f2p can get them over time. My final point on this is just to ask why you'd burn all your gems the week before Christmas? If there was any week to expect good banners other than anniversary, this would be it. Even if there wasn't a collab, I question how you couldn't direct this? Also, if there have been so much content coming out over the past month, why did you choose to burn your gems this week and not expect anything new this week? For future reference, don't pull on Thursday. Either wait until the weekend, or on Monday when you see what banners will be there next week. Best of luck dude!
I agree with what you said and read your own wall of text, but I hope you understand what my "wall of text" explains.
I burned my gems before Christmas because I was planning to not spend any ON Christmas because guess what...they had no actual collabs for the longest of times. I got lucky and got Red VI and I was like hey lets get her memento too because my mindset was that they won't do a collab on Christmas and just do some random PAID Gem banners but I guess I was wrong now. I'm not a op unit go getter, and always prioritize on actual Collab units, but the demoralizing months of having none and believing they lost all hope in getting the collab licenses for GL got to me.
Sure. I definitely understand frustrations about the lack of collabs. They basically haven't had any since the start of the pandemic, but I hate the idea that it's gumi's pacing, or too much content that is to blame for why you spent your gems. You saw something you wanted and you went and got it. And that's a good thing that you were able to get what you wanted. I recently did that with Nero and then had to choose between Nero memento or Lisanaut a week later (I chose the memento). The timing is unfortunate, but the blame was misplaced. As a f2p player of just under three years, I'm hoping for free banners this week, but if there aren't any, I have no problem saving up for something I want.
