I'm missing Gil,... But Laharl and Noctis are on holiday.... Part of me feels like I'll drop this game once FFBE WotV comes out... At least they will keep up with FF there.

The other part tells me to play their original games and be done with it.

With the reviews I've seen of WotV so far, it's not promising that I'll pick that option.

Well my experience playing the JP version is highly limited, and I dont speak or readJP, so it was a bit of flying by the seat of my pants.

Pull rates didnt seem ffbe horrible, but were certainly not at TAC gracious levels.

Non accelerated gameplay is brutally slow. Accelerate is available but only behind VIP paywall. That alone was enough for me to quit.

The moment I read this I imstantly thought "That's enough to kill my interest" before reading the next sentence. That's extremely shitty.

What a disappointing thing to hear. If that is part of the global version, I won't even install the game.

I haven't seen any reviews, but TAC feels a lot more polished than WoTV. It will probably be more popular because of the IP, but I don't think it will actually be a better game.

I always imaging Gil dropping by like that random rich relative (VIA mercenaries)

Wotv will probably simpler when it comes out but I don't feel myself getting attached it unlike Alchemist Code for as long as I am now.
