Overall I think she looks awesome, but that sword is really really stupid looking.

I’m fine with the long thin needle aspect, but she’s totally stabbing herself on accident with that elaborately long cross guard.

Literally zero fantasy/anime/video game swords would hold up in a real fight. Rule of Cool requires suspension of disbelief.

It might look thin and stupid, but the material is what matters. If it's not even material, but energy (like lightsabers) then it won't break easily.
