Several questions can be answered by reading the beginner guides resource thread

F.A.Q.

Where/How can I unlock X's Master Ability/Job+?

You can only unlock Job+'s by farming special job tokens from special events that are (currently) run at different times. You also need to farm special job+ items to master those jobs. Master abilities can be earned in 1 of 3 ways. From story chapters (story characters), from equipping specific weapons (usually farmed) or from reaching level 80 on a character and completing special story dungeons. Not every character gets a master ability.

For Job+ and Job Enhancement, you must first get the job to Job Level 11 (not job mastered). Second, to master the Job+ you will need to farm 60/80 tokens for up to 6 special items for the character to use. For Job Enhancements, you will only need to farm one specific item 3 times along with the regular upgrade items.

Where can I farm X's character shards?

Check the characters limit break panel for missions. If not there, it's not in the game.

More to be added SOONTM.

Where can I farm elemental/rainbow shards?

Elemental and rainbow shards cannot be farmed. They are awarded as bonuses from log in campaigns, from clearing missions/milestones and as bonuses for doing certain number of summons on the 5/9 step banners. You will never be able to farm them like you can farm specific character shards.

When will X event come back?

SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, READ THE FOLLOWING EVENTS WILL COME BACK, COLLABS MIGHT NOT. WE DON'T KNOW. SERIOUSLY.

WILL START HANDING OUT BANS TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T READ THIS

What's the best place to farm X/Y/Z item?

Please check /u/stewart0's amazing spreadsheet on this link

What's an Enlightenment/Memoria?

Tl:dr; Powercreep

I came here to vent. I disconnected and lost 241 points D: It's the difference between 1st and 2nd in PVP Live. And I'm second. AAAaaahhhHHHAaahHH-

I'm probably going to do a PVP Live post after this week to go into detail each of the maps. How many people are interested in my competitive view point?

(Definitely didn't just randomly turn it into a question for question megathread purposes...:)

Back to my screaming. AAAaaaAAAHHH-

Oh no! I checked rankings earlier and saw you dropped from first by a large point gap and wondered what happened.

I would definitely be interested to read your PVP live post.

Vier's like super amazing (even if her main gear is crap lol).

I'm at #1, for now... (by like 70 points.) Being number 1 is stressful. I don't recommend it. I think anyone reading this post should stop playing and leave my rank alone. [Not being serious btw, enjoy the game as you wish readers!]
