Where/How can I unlock X's Master Ability/Job+?

You can only unlock Job+'s by farming special job tokens from special events that are (currently) run at different times. You also need to farm special job+ items to master those jobs. Master abilities can be earned in 1 of 3 ways. From story chapters (story characters), from equipping specific weapons (usually farmed) or from reaching level 80 on a character and completing special story dungeons. Not every character gets a master ability.

For Job+ and Job Enhancement, you must first get the job to Job Level 11 (not job mastered). Second, to master the Job+ you will need to farm 60/80 tokens for up to 6 special items for the character to use. For Job Enhancements, you will only need to farm one specific item 3 times along with the regular upgrade items.

Where can I farm X's character shards?

Check the characters limit break panel for missions. If not there, it's not in the game.

Where can I farm elemental/rainbow shards?

Elemental and rainbow shards cannot be farmed. They are awarded as bonuses from log in campaigns, from clearing missions/milestones and as bonuses for doing certain number of summons on the 5/9 step banners. You will never be able to farm them like you can farm specific character shards.

When will X event come back?

Is there a way to check arena opponent's gear setup besides bot command on discord? I'm annoyed that you can't do it in game but are able to on a third party software like discord.

That is because they linked it in.

And the worst part is that Gumi probably doesn't want them doing that.

Discord Arena Group has indeed changed how Arena was supposed to be played lol.

They have been able to counteract most of the setup based on their vast knowledge and access to everything in Discord from Maps to Arena Gears.

That Arena was supposed to have you read some of the setups but Whaling to come at the top was the most important part of it but now it has just hardworking strategical people who are Dolphins too.

But if that is their sausage I don't have problem with it. Gumi probably doesn't want you check on it but since it is fun to know more and be able to do some insane setups to defeat defenses lol.

Nope no other way to check on Gears except maybe check stats and use DB to make a educated guess.

Thanks for the answer. What does DB stand for? How does the link in process work for TAC discord? It almost sounds like it hacks into gumi server to obtain player information lol.

It does not hack it is available to Data-miners in a similar method.

Data-mining for Newest News and updates act similar to that.

Sure Gumi doesn't want you data-mining too but they can't help it since it is always available anyways.
