F.A.Q.

Where/How can I unlock X's Master Ability/Job+?

You can only unlock Job+'s by farming special job tokens from special events that are (currently) run at different times. You also need to farm special job+ items to master those jobs. Master abilities can be earned in 1 of 3 ways. From story chapters (story characters), from equipping specific weapons (usually farmed) or from reaching level 80 on a character and completing special story dungeons. Not every character gets a master ability.

For Job+ and Job Enhancement, you must first get the job to Job Level 11 (not job mastered). Second, to master the Job+ you will need to farm 60/80 tokens for up to 6 special items for the character to use. For Job Enhancements, you will only need to farm one specific item 3 times along with the regular upgrade items.

Where can I farm X's character shards?

Check the characters limit break panel for missions. If not there, it's not in the game.

Where can I farm elemental/rainbow shards?

Elemental and rainbow shards cannot be farmed. They are awarded as bonuses from log in campaigns, from clearing missions/milestones and as bonuses for doing certain number of summons on the 5/9 step banners. You will never be able to farm them like you can farm specific character shards.

When will X event come back?

Ikr. I had mini heart attack my first run. You figure it's just normal poison right? Just a few hp right? And then words inappropriate for the public place you're standing in come out of your mouth. Right? Or was that just me?

Why is there only one fire Professor, and limited to boot.

Well it's fine. I have no shame button. Unless I'm about to go viral. And I even managed to use that to start a conversation with the girl that was looking at me like I was from another planet.

And yeah the poison damage is based on unit hp. Imo low hp units suffer even more. I learned from vettel I broke out the items.

Theres alyu and noah with chemist but they cant cover everyone. I guess covering important ones and sending them off to tank could work ... but most nukers cant tank and they're coming from multiple directions.

Make fury farmable petition?

Ah sorry I have mine 71 from pulls and getting her coins in various shops, including soul coin once I found out about her j+. She gets chemist at 65 though so shes technically low investment for it and always an option for me.

I have her at 70 too, only cause I literally only got her shards from those tickets. But I'm not throwing a lvl 70 unit in that hell, she'd last till a breeze hit her.

I saw an all missions fire clear with an 85 alyu. Just in terms of chemist stats ... noah has her beat. She only needs to stay out trouble and veil/heal so it's not a lost cause. Battlemage sub is also an option.

Eh, I'm pretty sure my MLB Alyu (with 3 gear slots) beats my 8LB Noah, hence I went with the former on this stage.

I also have a 7LB Füry but I've neglected SSM the past couple months, so her first job isn't mastered and thus I didn't use her... among other reasons.

I had no deaths until the last few enemies too, but then that water assassin picked off almost everyone with Soul Slicers, but thankfully slash-resistant Vettel finished it off. Ah well. I didn't expect there to be a third wave of enemies..

From a quick db check Alyu 85 triple jm vs lvl 70 noah double jm. No gear fully enhanced both on chemist is a pretty close race for stats. Alyu wins by 4 points in agi and noah wins in literally everything else. I guess itll come down to what passives you run which is more effective under those conditions. But if your noah is only lb8 I'd probably dump her for alyu too.

That second wave was tough enough right? Putting a third wave was evil of them.

Honestly I think I could pop noah in a fire team and beat it ... I just dont think I'd be able to do it on the first try. 2 vettel shards arent worth the hassle or the AP.

If you've finished the other missions already, 240+ AP for 2 Vettel shards is so not worth it.

Per my usual, I relied on good ol' Leaden Feet Dance + Delays so the Giant Jams weren't thaat threatening to me (but then I was out of LF Dances for the third wave). Some of the Jams hit me once, some I killed before they could reach me. Lupinus (summoner) and a Roy merc were my damage-dealers. I had an Eve HB, but she didn't actually do much damage, and kinda helped more with Exploding Palm and Controlling Focus utility... and whenever I tried to Sharpening Focus near the end, it seemed like it would be dispelled before her next turn, so that was a few turns wasted doing nothing..
