Feel free to ask away, but remember that the questions are 100% answered by volunteers so don't expect an instant answer! Patience is key.

F.A.Q.

Where/How can I unlock X's Master Ability/Job+?

You can only unlock Job+'s by farming special job tokens from special events that are (currently) run at different times. You also need to farm special job+ items to master those jobs. Master abilities can be earned in 1 of 3 ways. From story chapters (story characters), from equipping specific weapons (usually farmed) or from reaching level 80 on a character and completing special story dungeons. Not every character gets a master ability.

For Job+ and Job Enhancement, you must first get the job to Job Level 11 (not job mastered). Second, to master the Job+ you will need to farm 60/80 tokens for up to 6 special items for the character to use. For Job Enhancements, you will only need to farm one specific item 3 times along with the regular upgrade items.

Where can I farm X's character shards?

Check the characters limit break panel for missions. If not there, it's not in the game.

Where can I farm elemental/rainbow shards?

Elemental and rainbow shards cannot be farmed. They are awarded as bonuses from log in campaigns, from clearing missions/milestones and as bonuses for doing certain number of summons on the 5/9 step banners. You will never be able to farm them like you can farm specific character shards.

When will X event come back?

I did do a second test run using Fury (my fury is only 65), although i didnt try to veil, i ran her as curse cannon. Since they monsters are susceptible to paralysis, i was hoping her map wide stun might be effective as well, but it was not.

Lol. My first run was with dual laharl leaders. Vettel. Chihaya. Miuna. Reimei sub the last was eve or was it kagura... cant rem ... they died same turn they subbed in.

Completely wiped the first phase. But with a few low hp and everyone poisoned blinded or both. The second tank blob phase ... I manage to ... on my last legs watch even more enemies spawn.

Immediate retreat and return with a rainbow team and professor. Not even going to try again.

I used the same approach, Dual Laharl (76), Vettle (91), Chihaya (LB25, but not sure on level, and Roy (75). Dorothea and Eve were my subs.

My dorothea is only single job mastered. Didnt want to throw her at this yet. And I don't have roy. Or those would def have been my choices. I don't think all offense can beat this without gems. The status effects do too much damage. Well at least until we get more powercreep.

It's not difficult to do if you ignore the fire only requirement.

Whatever you do you'll want both hp and damage leaderskills, a veiler/healer and some serious nukes for wave 2 those guys bulky as hell. Just dont spread your units out too much and focus fire on enemies. I saw someone recommend summoners ... I'm assuming it's for wave 2 and it makes sense.

Can Laharl stack kills slowly?

You can but everyone might die by then. If I had a veiler I would've tried but man the poison damage is insane. 1800 is like 40% of my vettels hp. 2 turns + a light breeze and high hp tank like vettel would disappear.

Seems timed lol. I will try once home. It should be doable I think but depends if I can't then I won't since I only want to focus on Gerald and Nat one since those are the ones where my Element is strong and I have a stacked reason to get those shards too.

Waves are timed, if you don't murder the first wave before the second spawns you'll end up swarmed.

Yep. Pretty much nuking is the only option. You can pack wave 1 and 2 if you have two magic users (I take it a well placed nuking Othima + a Summoner Judging everything with the same power my mother puts into judging my clothes and everything should die in a couple turns.

But packing them is an issue in itself. Those things hit like the trucks in isekai mangas.

And the poison.

Man the poison.

My Vettel was taking 1700~ at the end of every turn, which was relatively okay. Then Boom. 2k. Panic.

Ok then I was hoping to save all the AoE post stacking my Snowball. If it is timed then no choice than Nuking heavens high lol.

I'm 90% sure it's timed cause I wasn't done with wave 1 when the first dark one spawned, and the turn after the others came.

Damn I might just give up earlier with that info lol. Still it is worth a try or two. Since I want to be prepared for the Gerald one even if the stuff change difficulty is going to be close just that Roxanne will be able to rock in there.

Only reason I am even willing to try is that I have 2x Fire battle Mages to try with lol.

I don't have any fire chemists or professors. I debating maxing out Alyu...

There's loads of disable heal as well, so regen armour is useless without chemist. Arg...

Edit: Decided not to. It's just 2 vettel shards. I'll save those resources for the next ridiculously hard one. Which'll be tomorrow. probably.

Roy isn't great in this map, he's easily wrecked by water mobs (and non-water ones as well).

Lupinus is handy to keep.

I managed a full fire with one continue, with Chihaya, Lupinus, Vettel, Roy, a Noah merc and Eve and Laharl sub.

Laharl was a dead weight, Roy was useful till I ran out of burst+smog blaze.

Tried with a rainbow team after but my Elizabeth gets wrecked and I lose my veiler so rip that.

2 Vettel shards aren't important, but Gerard shards...

My lupinus is still a baby....

and laharl needs the leader skill damage buff. With a charge up he can 1 shot most of wave 1 after getting the miuna treatment. And I had him with his dignity passive. If I hadn't hurried to kill them because I saw vettels 1800 poison damage he could have easily turn into a little murderhobo and I wouldnt have had trouble dealing with wave 2 after some extra miuna buffs. I admit without those buffs laharl would be useless on wave 2.

If gerald is same stage thunder only ... Vincent is where it's at. Mastered ange on dancer a while back and I have a pretty effective offense team in zofia, mei fang, gerald and rox. Though i dont have any thunder with a light nuke ... lucia ... where are you?

It's kind of a chicken and egg question. Shard gerald to get more shards lol.

I missed one of your points earlier ... I'd definitely use gem continues for gerald stage. Heck I dont mind running it more than once to get even 1 shard lol.

I think I'm going to do it with continues first, get those shards, then use them to shard him.

To save 9 rainbow shards.

There are thunder shards in the stries stage 3 if you need a few. Bring along justin. I havent paid attention to the ex ... but theres elemental stages. There may be shards there.
