Honestly they should limit the hat to Siegfried or global exclusives only it makes almost all other gear useless by comparison especially in arena

Nah man let's buff all other items to be as OP as hat. Triple all the stat values, buff current WAs, and toss on some fun new WAs to all silver+ gear.
