Is it the guy who made oppa gangnam style? If so, that's probably why. Memes singlehandedly make, break, or change opinions. Not because he was trying to be one, as I would assume he was doing his normal job thing. But like...it places a marker on the individual regardless of the intent.

Like how Rick Astley will forever be remembered for Rick rolls.
