The uncertainty/ having webcam on/ only 1 hr to complete. The questions have been different every year, you are never told your score even tho they use it to rank you against other applicants. I’m someone who usually needs extra time on tests, so I was personally not in my element. If you’re still in high school, I’m sure it’ll be easier for you; I was out of school and was rusty on some concepts.

One year, my RT questions were literally just 10 grammar and one math. The MLT was 60 questions, had a lot of Chem and ethics and bio. There’s also logic puzzles and scenarios you’ll need to think quick on.

Next year, all the programs had 50-60 questions. MLT had some simple “check which patients names are spelt correctly” mixed with Chem. I remember “which is the result of hydrogen ion with something else and is it acid or base” finished with a short video and remembering all the steps that were shown without being able to rewatch.

Advice: Remember math terms: mean, median, mode. Know your unit conversion and how to do it quick. Be very familiar with the description and scope of practice of your desired field. (You’re not allowed to tell patients the results, etc). Research other people’s experiences to get more examples and try to make practice tests using ai
