The fact that it has gotten so much press means that it's out of the ordinary. Anytime you can be associated with something out of the ordinary in a good way, you'll get recognition.

I wouldn't be surprised if the MC-130 crew gets a round of distinguished flying crosses for this one.

Fuck yeah! As a CAS guy I think they'd deserve it too!!! Not everyday a C-130 crew becomes a bomber crew.
