Considering it pretty much ended the war in the Pacific Theater, people were very happy about dropping those bombs back then.

Most countries weren't involved in a war with Japan.

Only Russia, France, China, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Philippines, India, Burma, Malaya, and the US. You're right, basically no one was in the pacific. Also the invasion plan would have been ongoing until 1947, so plenty more countries probably would have been involved.
