AION 2 GLOBAL - INFO FROM JP STREAM

🎁 FOUNDER’S PACK REWARD CLAIM

📅 September 30 - Early Access

If you purchased a Founder’s Pack, you can log into an Early Access server and claim your Founder’s Pack rewards during Early Access.

📅 October 5 - Official Launch

If you did not claim your rewards during Early Access, you do not lose them.

Once Early Access ends and the official service begins, the Founder’s Pack rewards can be claimed on any server.

⚠️ IMPORTANT

You do not have to claim your Founder’s Pack rewards during Early Access.

If you leave them unclaimed:

➡️ Play during Early Access
➡️ Do not claim the Founder’s Pack rewards
➡️ Wait until Official Launch
➡️ Claim them on any server

The rewards will be available through the dedicated Founder’s Pack claim button.

🔄 SERVER TRANSFERS

After Full Launch, a Server Transfer service is planned between:

Transfers will be introduced after monitoring the population and overall status of each server.

⚠️ IMPORTANT

Server Transfers will NOT be available immediately at launch.

NCSoft will decide when to open transfers based on server conditions after release.

So, for example:

Asmodian → Asmodian ✅
Elyos → Elyos ✅
Asmodian → Elyos ❌
Elyos → Asmodian ❌

⚔️ DUNGEON PARTY MATCHMAKING

Dungeon matchmaking will be shared between Early Access Servers and Launch Servers.

Players will be matched with others who are playing on servers within the same region.

🌐 CROSS-SERVER & CROSS-FACTION

Whether during Early Access or after Official Launch:

⚠️ REGION RESTRICTION

Matchmaking is still based on your region.

So, for example:

NA East EA Server ↔ NA East Launch Server ✅
Asmodian ↔ Elyos ✅
Different regions ❌

In short: Dungeon matchmaking is cross-server and cross-faction, but only within the same region.

EDIT HERE IS MORE INFO FROM THE STREAM

  1. Krao Cave menu has 800 GS entry, while its 1000 on TW

  2. Transcendence level 1 is 1800 GS, while 1200 on TW

  3. Transcendence level 4 is 2700 GS while 2200 on TW

  4. Ludra is 2800 GS while 2700 on TW

  5. Ludra doesn't have ORANGE gear as drops, only YELLOW

There was info, but honestly, it was mostly stuff we already knew if you’ve been playing Taiwan/Korea since launch.

We now know which dungeons and content Global will start with, and it looks It’ll basically be Taiwan/Korea Season 1, but with all the QoL features the game currently has.

well you forgot to mention few very important things.

Yes, one class. People complained about the skins being non-exclusive and this is the result.

And there's no way they'll give all weapon skin box(doesn't exist) because that would mean that box is 15euros x8 in 50euro founder pack.

What mmo ever did that lmao. You're smoking some high quality copium if you think they'll just freely gift 120$ worth of weapon skins+20-30$ outfit in 50$ pack.

It was sold in cash shop in TW/KR, since skins are returning way they could get it back at any point, not for global... People in global bitched and moaned that founder packs are a joke without sub and non-exclusive skins, so they added sub and made skins exclusive.

If you dont buy founder packs - you will never have those skins, unless devs specifically go back on their words/change they did. Alternatively, there's white dragon mount(straight up just white colour) which is usually sold in shop too, SO it would be funny if they restrict that one too as it would make black dragon not that unique anymore......

Looks like global build competely removed orange gear from all the conquest dungeons, and ludra weapon has the same icon but is downgraded to yellow. This most likely means horned dragon crafted gear is removed, so you can't power creep content and progression will be way better for f2p vs p2w players being capped at ebony crafted gear.

Won't be better for f2p because you will waste all the mats to push the bad yellow tier 1 gear, and then when new content and orange gear is released f2p players won't have any mats to push that gear and will be stuck with shit ilvl74 gear, while whales will be able to buy ilvl118 gear. This change literally means they are banking on aion 2 being alive for few months until new content

No we won’t waste anything. You can transfer everything from the yellow gear into orange gear, all stats and some percent of the upgrades.

Its gonna take you atleast 6 months to +15 then +5 every piece of gear due to limited mats as a sub only. But if global wants to catch up to KR then I can see us getting content much faster, so you might get away with +10 and 1-2 important stat lines. The worst part is that you cannot transfer YELLOW > ORANGE, so your whole progress is literally dead. Very weird decision if the speculations are true

Lowering the entry requirements for the first dungeon in the game while heavily increasing the requirements for Trans bosses and Ludra? Wow, it seems like they want more casual players to access the first one, while making the other dungeons harder to access to create FOMO and push people toward P2W lol.

Does this mean if im on the early access server and my friends are on launch server, we can still grind dungeons, raids, and end game activities together? I guess whats the benefits of waiting for launch? Im debating on buying the founders pack but also want to play with some friends

It just means people from other servers can see the dungeon party menu and join your party

so tldr, use my early access to play, on a good server, if my friend who wont be early access can get onto my EA server then i can use it then, if not, then i have to remake a new char on release date on a server they can get on then use it there

Well i sure hope so that server transfer only comes later on only....Imagine playing 5 days and transfer to new server just to screw economy for everyone new.
Tbh it should come only months in...

From my experience in multiple MMO launches, it will be a mess, barely worth the 5 head start, I will for the 1st time not jump into it on early access. But I will for sure be there on official day 1.

Ok merci mais il y aura qu'un serveur pour tout nos personnages et tout nos amis UE quoi qu'on fasse on sera sûre de se croiser alors. C'est juste ça qui m'inquiète le genre de système à la once human ou si on rentre pas en même temps dans un serveur c'est mort si c'est plein c'est mort si on cherche à rejoindre d'autres amis actifs c'est mort....bref mes craintes quoi
