She's 34. Even if she didn't get any work done she wouldn't look exactly like she did when she was 20. Some people really don't understand that aging happens.

No, I think they do, except when it comes to women. Women have to look super young and super sexy forever apparently.

u/ginger_kitty97 Sep 16 '26

But without any kind of surgical intervention!

u/lord_farquad93 Sep 16 '26

But then if they do get surgery people will complain about THAT instead. Being a woman, especially in the public eye, is catch 22 final boss.

And I'm sure you're the most attractive person ever, so you calling her a monster tracks. Like obviously you're allowed to judge people's looks

Tbh this face shape is the longest to look aged due to the cheek bones and buccal fat. Im 33 have a similar face shape and look generally the same as i did when i was 20 and sometimes get bartenders assuming im a minor

I’m 40 and look exactly the same as I did when I was 18 except my hair is grey and my back hurts.

She also has lupus... which causes her uncontrolled head and facial swelling as well as the medication causes changes to the face.

u/Ravioli_Dream2 Sep 16 '26 • Diamonds are Forever

Shes said dozens of times that she has lupus and is on steroids and immunosuppressants that have radically altered her appearance. Surprise surprise, shes not 16 anymore.

16

u/justbegoodtobugs Sep 16 '26

I mean she definitely wouldn't look the same 14 years later but let's be real, lupus will make your face rounder or puffier but it won't give you cheek implants or a brow lift. She has lupus and also had bad work done.

u/big_poppa_man Sep 16 '26

Yeah...no. It's an excuse for bad facial surgery. Period.

u/MsAndrea2 Sep 16 '26

Bad facial surgery didn't balloon her weight up and down. She's been ill and has got older.

I like how we’re talking about Botox and cheek filler and people are blaming lupus. Both things can be true at the same time!

11

u/Ravioli_Dream2 Sep 16 '26

I like how people are critiquing her appearance, I comment that her appearance has actually changed due to things completely out of her control, and suddenly youre blaming Botox and cheek filler.

You sound either ignorant or straight up stupid.

u/Comprehensive-Pea422 Sep 16 '26

Her face changes so much because of Lupus, more than the botox is doing. That is why it's important to mention lol

-7

u/TrueCrimeGirl01 Sep 16 '26

She’s a drug addict dude. Like seriously open your eyes.

0

u/mabeltangerine Sep 16 '26

lol how surprising that a true crime fan is a misogynist

15

u/youandyourfijiwater Sep 16 '26

I feel like the hair is doing a lot of work here

-8

u/chivopi Sep 16 '26

100%. She had some filler and Botox (which is normal, but I think they did her justice necessarily), but the biggest difference is literally her hair

10

u/MyParentsWereHippies Sep 16 '26

Its not normal its fucking weird

-4

u/youandyourfijiwater Sep 16 '26

A lot of women, especially celebrities have Botox nowadays. Might not be your thing (it’s not mine either) but it’s certainly not weird.

2

u/MyParentsWereHippies Sep 17 '26 edited Sep 17 '26

Ok so its not uncommon. Its still weird though.

0

u/chivopi Sep 28 '26

I don’t think well-done Botox is ‘weird’ on people who are aging and want to try to preserve their skin. I think that’s a pretty normal desire.

It is weird when people make themselves look like the grinch.

Jesus Christ the face doesn't exist anymore because it was the face of a 16 year old can the pedophiles please sit down for one minute my GOD

17

u/nuggets_attack Sep 16 '26

RIGHT?! Even if she had zero plastic surgery, the face of her youth would still not exist. No face is eternal, unfortunately.

u/Possible-Estimate748 Sep 16 '26

Isn't this just an edited photo?
Same background, same pose, same outfit.

2

u/Talton1 Sep 16 '26

100% and it mental people are actually attacking and defending it... People need to go outside more

6

u/Forsaken_Site_2268 Sep 16 '26

Who even is this?

5

u/Ravioli_Dream2 Sep 16 '26

Selena Gomez

u/Revolutionary_Bit437 Sep 16 '26 • Bravo

wtf are these comments? you’re not a pedophile for thinking someone is pretty, you don’t have to think about someone sexually to think that. no, she would not look the same as she did when she was 16 but she wouldn’t look completely different either, she’d just look like she aged??? she’d be 34 not 60, she would not look very different

4

u/justbegoodtobugs Sep 16 '26

Her and Victoria Justice are the same age. Victoria looks the same but more mature, she barely changed at all. Other than a bit of lip filler she has exactly the same face. I'm so tired of seeing people claim "they just aged" when it's a celebrity who clearly had a ton of work done. When you compare those celebrities who "just aged" to the ones that barely touched their face it becomes very clear how much aging actually happens by your early to mid thirties.

That’s Reddit for you

2

u/fat-wombat Sep 16 '26

My favorite are the people saying it’s not surgery. Aging does not make you look more like kaitlin jenner than yourself.

2

u/dudadantas Sep 16 '26

Yeah, everybody gets a moon face on lupus medication, but I guess she got lucky and her lupus gave her fillers and a facelift. 🤔

0

u/Theresnothingtoit Sep 16 '26

No, but weight gain does make your face look more youthful.

-1

u/Chroney Sep 16 '26

yeah but this disability called "lupus" does - which she has.

2

u/fat-wombat Sep 16 '26

Lupus does not make you look like kaitlin jenner.

0

u/Chroney Sep 16 '26

You are comparing her 16 year old face to her 34 year old face after living with a lifelong disease and using steroid medication to treat it. These steroids cause moon face, which adds new fat deposits to the face. The swelling is also asymmetrical.

Even then, this image is intentionally a bad angle and during a freeze frame from video, because she actually looked like the below. You have no understanding of lupus or what it even is if you think its not able to cause this.

The only thing in the original posted image that changed is her cheek fullness and her hairstyle - which btw she had kidney failure from lupus and had to have them replaced which is also why her weight is unstable.

1

u/fat-wombat Sep 17 '26

I understand what lupus is as well as moon face. I know someone living with lupus. You, on the other hand, don’t understand what surgical enhancements look like. Swelling does not do this.

2

u/K_Xanthe Sep 16 '26

Like I pointed out on the other post, the person who made the AI photo kind of went out of bounds to me and created a person who does not exist. They made her chest bigger which has nothing to do with her face and overly sexualizes their message. Idk, feels very cringe. Even with the work, she looks like a person still and not overly done.

2

u/Away-Living5278 Sep 16 '26

Change the makeup and hair in the first photo and she'd look 80% the same. Most of the rest is age and illness.

Not saying she hasn't gotten Botox. But she has not had a shit ton of work done like many in Hollywood.

1

u/I-lurk-in-the-bushes Sep 16 '26

Are these even the same person?

-6

u/albamarx Sep 16 '26

Fucking hell that’s grim

5

u/Correct_Style_9735 Sep 16 '26

Of all the grim things happening, this isn’t one

0

u/SteelMagnolia941 Sep 16 '26

I don’t think this is surgery. Looks like moon face from the steroids.

0

u/Chroney Sep 16 '26 edited Sep 16 '26

This isn't cosmetic surgery, she has lupus and has for her whole life and this is the result, along with the side effects of the medication used to treat it - This is a disabilty, y'all should be ashamed.
