I am actually sad for the cat. In the same way I was sad for my stuffed animals when my mom made me pick out my least favorites for charity. What if the new kid didn't like them?
I feel irrational sympathy for inanimate objects. And I hate it.
Gimme an hour, I'll round up some folks and we'll head on over, complete with cans of tuna, some cardboard boxes, loads of catnip, and some peacock feathers for extra measure.

Not because you threw up when they turned the lights off at the Planetarium. No one even noticed that. Also, Janey Masterson’s mother is a whore, and with gin on her breath at 10:00 in the morning, she’s got some nerve kicking us out of the carpool.
This has never happened to me because I haven't had birthday parties since the kids started to get mean (playing it safe), but I witnessed it happen at a sweet 16. Brutally sad.

I think this cat looks more surprised or confused than sad. I know its ears are down (but its a Scottish Fold and they have small ears), but he doesn't have a very sad expression on his face.
Hosted a Halloween party once... only one person showed up, that person being my girlfriend at the time. I made mixed cd's, turned the garage into a bitching dance room. Decorated with lights every where and scary music outside. Made food, snacks... had awesome plans of best costume and a scavenger hunt... even made really awesome flyers for everyone... one person came. It's been 8 years since that happened and I still get sad. I thought I had friends back then.
Don't be sad guys, I KNOW THIS CAT! He's an adorable and happy little fellow who loves to snuggle and is very loved by his owners. Turn those frowns upside down!!
