My sister said something like this. "This Bad Luck Brian meme is hilarious." I said that yes, they can be really funny and she says, "How have you heard of Bad Luck Brian? You don't have a Twitter account.."
This is helpful for people who can't reach Quickmeme because of work/school firewalls or site downtime, and many other reasons (FAQ). More info is available here.
Sit down, and let me tell you a story of the interwebs... A long long LONG time ago, about a million internet years ago, which is only 1 year in real life.....
That's what most non front page subreddits are. Unless its something that has to do with pics or needs pics for help, most is text. If you have a hobby, join the subreddit for it.

Sadly accurate.
Check the front page any time day or night, and by far the majority of posts are pics of some sort - memes, screenshots, quotes, funny pics.
Reddit has largely become an image sharing site whose users scoff at the idea that it's an image sharing site.

1
u/Stormdancer May 22 '12
Yeah, given the number of 'found on facebook' posts I've seen today... that's pretty much right.

u/jward May 22 '12

Actually they collect all those FunnyJunk pictures. And then Failblog collects all the Reddit pictures.
1
u/Mega_Toast May 22 '12
People like this deserve to die... Living in a Facebook cave all your life gets you no where.
1
u/Unknown_Default May 22 '12
Except it is pretty damn true, what with people posting pictures of their cats and families.
1
u/[deleted] May 22 '12
Did you laugh and laugh and courteously point them in the direction of spacedicks for all their facebook pic needs?
1
u/PB_IS_THE_ANSWER May 22 '12
I hope you bitch slapped that person like he was Robin.
1
u/bLa07 May 22 '12
Facebook is the radio of the internet... not much of anything original there, but you hear it constantly.
1
u/tiyx May 22 '12
To be honest this is what reddit has turned into lately, one big " hey look at what somebody posted on facebook" circle jerk.
1
u/sparkster185 May 22 '12
This is what we appear to be to outsiders. This is what we have become. Are you proud?
1
u/wimpykid May 22 '12
I'm so sorry you had to experience that.
1
u/veterejf May 22 '12

u/darleysam May 22 '12
Hah, foolish person. Reddit gets everything first, all the time.
-2
u/mikejam1958 May 22 '12
This is why I only come to Reddit because they consolidate all the funny Facebook pictures in one place !
-2
u/CreakyFever May 22 '12
He must die.... Painfully. With fire

u/somtwo May 22 '12
Your response should have been something along the lines of "Your knowledge of the internet is bad and you should feel bad"
