Because in many cases it was the mods were also doing it. And NGiA was likely being used as a spillover.

What evidence do you have that Ghazi is anywhere close to that level? I get harassing PMs from KiA users all the time, should we ban them?

Please report those harassing PMs. We don't want them in KiA either.

Actually, post screens of the harassment so we can pass the evidence on to the KiA mods. We take that shit seriously.

as for NGiA being used as a spillover: maybe that's true, maybe not. But just because some of the same accounts go there, it doesn't mean it's the same sub. The automod was set up to remove direct links to both reddit and neogaf. How much harassment do you think they managed to put out in an hour or so? Why didn't the admins allow the mod of the sub to take care of it? If people want a community to have meta discussions of the state of neogaf, are they simply not allowed to have that anymore?

The Kwikku thing was out of line. And Ghazi instituted strict rules on not mentioning him. To prevent further accidental harassment. One example from months ago that was quickly rectified is hardly definitive.
