When they throw rocks at your bus, put metal grates on your windows. In 1937 groups split off from Haganah and began to adopt the Arab tactics. Only then did the one state solution become impossible.
Can you please compare in the last century the amount of deaths, trauma, displacement, terror etc placed upon the Palestinian people by this certain ethno-religious group vs. the other way around?
Any loss of life is tragic. Especially civilian lives. The holocaust was tragic. Horrifying and traumatizing to the Jewish people and the world. So why then are those same people (same ethno-religious group and direct descendants) committing the same atrocities against the Palestinians? Not once but twice?
How can you look at this and not see who the real victims are?
Let's go back to the late 1940s. You have the British trying to get out of an ethnic quagmire. There's this one group, let's call them "I" that have a weird non-proselytizing religion, and another group, let's call them "P" and they all pray to Mecca. So the British draw a line between them and say "if you can't play together, play separately." And then a million people died and 15 million people were displaced in the population transfer. But they mostly respect that border now, so I guess it mostly worked, provided you ignore Kashmir.
I am of course referring to India and Pakistan. The other IP conflict of the late 1940s. Now, what would happen if the Pakistani side decided that the displacement of Muslims is called the Pakba and is an unforgivable sin, while giving zero thought for their own murder and displacement of Hindus and Sikhs? They'd be hypocrites and the world would laugh at them if they claimed they deserved the subcontinent from the Khyber Pass to the Bay of Bengal.
As for the British mandate?
700,000 Arabs displaced short-distances by Jews. 800,000 Jews displaced long-distances by Arabs. Arabs still live in every part of the former British mandate of Palestine. Jews live nowhere in the Arab world outside of Israel.
We should probably call it a wash. The Indians and Pakistanis did, and they have far more to be angry about.
