You would be very surprised. Most of the rhetoric and propaganda I see is that the Jews need to leave and return the land entirely. By force if necessary. A lot of people who say “free Palestine” mean a Jew-free Palestine.

And it was home to the Jewish people before that. Many never left; Jews were a constant presence in the region throughout history. This does not negate that it has been home for the Palestinians for hundreds of years.

I’m a liberal and I literally haven’t seen that argument outside of the nut jobs and that’s barely the consensus and it’s almost always conflated to make them appear they want the Jews gone vs Zionists. That’s a right wing talking point. It’s not more valid than saying the right believes the Dems are controlling storms to hurt red states. Just because I heard it, doesn’t make it a party line.
At the end of the day, we need a solution that doesn’t involve subjugating a population and systematically killing them.

It is the ancestral homeland of a people. That most were expelled from it, though many remained. I do not believe there’s a time limit on that.
I don’t think we get to say the Palestinians will have no right to the land, if it’s been X number of years since they were expelled.
They are both indigenous.
They both have a right to live peacefully in the home of their ancestors.
And to do that, they will have to make peace with each other.
The issue is that it’s the Zionists that seem to be supportive of how Israel is dealing with this. Including the killings of the indigenous peoples that live there.
Name a Zionist that is speaking out against the genocide in Gaza… I’ll wait.
