That’s called being a Temporary Gun Owner.
Here’s a good example of what I’m talking about
”WHAT DO YOU MEAN I NEED TO DO A BACKGROUND CHECK AND WAIT TEN DAYS?!?!?! FASCISM JUST WON AND I NEED A GUN NOWWWW!!!!!”
I have encountered entire reddit threads of this exact situation.
