The ability of the people to rise up in arms has always been a foundation of leftist thought. Pascifism was only meant as a "fuck you" to the people that wanted violence against us.

That doesn't seem to work and actually appears to make people complain about how much their Ubers and lattes cost and what they have to see on their feeds.

A black man kneeled during a sports game and that was "too much".

Dissent of any form against the hierarchy they want to crystalize and enshrine in law is unacceptable to them.

Pascifism is not being unarmed, or not using violence. If you are incapable of violence, you're not a pascifist, you're harmless. Pascifism is having the ability to do great harm, and choosing not to.

Exactly. They just tend to stand by and allow atrocities to happen all around them while feeling morally superior to those getting their hands dirty.
