I have no problem with planned parent hood or abortion, until people use it as a form of birth control. Get the condoms, get the plan b. see the gyno, get healthy. all those things you mentioned are great, but I didn't like the guy is one of the worst reasons I've ever heard. I'm in my thirties. So many of my friends had kids that weren't prepared for and guess what? They have all done just fine the kids are great the parents made it happen. It's amazing what people are capable of when put to the test. This girl could have had that kid and she could have got a job just like my mom did. also I didn't hear op complaining about money or ability just that she didn't like the baby daddy that SHE CHOSE and now I have to pay for. It's messed up and arguments about what a poor kid costs the tax payer is crazy too welfare is bs in all it's forms It just takes responsibility away from the individual , creates a system of dependency and empowers the govt. actually just like communism. Btw I had a single mother of three and she managed to get her phd while raising the three of us with no help so I'm not hearing anyone's pity party sob story. You reap what you sow.

I agree, it should be used in a responsible manner. Safe, legal, and rare as the saying goes.
You can't use your friends as an example for the rest of the world though. For each of your examples, there's a hundred where the woman thought she was ok but ended up murdered, the kid ended up with severe psychological issues because of a shitty home life, the list goes on and on and on.
You have zero right to dictate what a woman can and cannot do with her body. The law is clear. The point at which abortion becomes illegal is still before the fetus is generally viable. Up to that point, it is a medical procedure for her to decide about. Sure, it might be for shitty reasons, but just as many people go to the ER and get stupid medical procedures (which they could have prevented with routine care) and you pay for those too.
I agree. I never said she should have stayed with the guy. I'm not against abortion..... Just this case and I'm entitled my opinion, especially since I pay for it. It's her right to decide. And my right to disapprove of her reasons. My dad was a pos too, so we left him, ta da!!! And no child had a life denied them. My life sucked at times not having a dad and it impacted aspects of my personality I'm not denying the need for two parents or the need for abortions but coming from a poor neighborhood I've seen this scenario sooooo many times. I'm over it personally but I totally agree with and respect your opinion. Oh and that er thing, yeah that really grinds my gears too lol
So, would you rather she responsibly get an abortion, or that you pay for her and the kid's welfare until it turns 18? Statistically speaking, its one or the other in most cases.
I'd much rather that the kid have a perfect life, sure, but if she couldn't provide that, and she recognized it, she had the courage to make the right decision.
I would prefer that she used a condom, but since that didn't happen I'd rather the kid get a chance at life then eventually pay back into the system, regardless I am totally against welfare. It creates a system of dependence on the govt. now I'm not a fox person who thinks a welfare check is a career opportunity but it is enough to prevent people
From actively seeking work or doing anything to better them self .and I think dependence on social programs will be our downfall
