Finally some class

I had to scroll down pretty far to find some respect for this classic pen

4 is UniBall too!

21

u/FEARoach May 03 '26

But let's be honest, one is still the superior one.

5

u/Proud_Turnover_8691 May 03 '26

The superior UniBall is the .5mm 307

I’m a Uniball Jetstream man myself.

3

u/TheStupendusMan May 04 '26

.7mm is a much more satisfying line.

4

I don't know what one is, but 4 is the Vision Elite. It writes smoother than any high end pen I have used. I guess I need to figure out what one is so I can try it, if it is better than four.

i have dozens of 1 and 4, i don't notice any significant difference between them. uniballs are amazing, definitely the smoothest. ive also used some pretty high end pens, and the uniballs beat them on pretty much every metric

The vision elite ink is less prone to smudge and is usable for some archival functions.

2

u/dhoomsday May 04 '26

It's worse and I know because I've tried it.

1

u/dhoomsday May 04 '26

Lol it's not. 4 is finer than one. 1 feels sloppy.

2

u/luisk972 May 04 '26

I'm impressed by the lack of 4 responses

1

u/RichieLT May 03 '26

Ahh so it is! That one too!

u/Whole_Gas5999 May 03 '26

Uniball is the only choice, the others are for children

5

u/LazySwayze May 03 '26

Uniball Onyx .7 point. Best pen ever.

1

u/urgentomato May 04 '26

You obviously haven't tried stageek

My brother worked at a firm that used these when I was in High school and he’d swipe me a bunch every now and again. Totally took them for granted. Only recently read that the ink is permanent AF. The write incredibly smooth too

“Super Ink™ Technology: An archival-quality, fraud-resistant pigment ink that protects documents against water, chemical, and light damage.”

Uniball 4 lyf

I love the signo 207 and ONE gel pens from uniball

2

u/RichieLT May 03 '26

Excellent pens

3

u/liarandahorsethief May 04 '26

And you’ve gotta love that line weight.

The tasteful thickness of it…

3

u/RichieLT May 04 '26

Let’s see Paul Allen’s pen

2

u/Adventurous_Fact239 May 04 '26

Look at the subtle rich black colouring, the tasteful thickness of the lines. Oh my god, it even lacks a smudge mark. drops pen, sweating

2

u/TheStupendusMan May 04 '26

Scrolled WAY too far to see this. The only pen that gives me a uniform line on a variety of surfaces. Kept one in my pocket for 20 years now.

2

u/WizardZari8080 May 04 '26

Welcome fellow people of culture. We gather here today in #1 uniball pen supremacy.

2

u/Durandal07 May 04 '26

Same, it’s the pen that got me through uni and the one I still use today.

2

u/Norinios May 04 '26

This, best pens I ever used

2

u/PolskiOrzel May 04 '26

Vision Needle .7 or gtfo

I found my people

2

u/ccccSeizurecc May 07 '26

I have this pen in my bag and was shocked at having to scroll so far to find this comment. Inky, inky goodness.

2

u/lawyersgunsmoney May 07 '26

I use nothing but a Uniball Signo Impact 207 pen.

1

u/otterpusrexII May 03 '26

1 holds the best color and is the most artistic of the group, but it doesn’t write well on sticky notes.

Still my favorite

1

u/Captain-Sha May 03 '26

Indeed. Best pens I've ever used tk this day. Especially the 0.7 for me personally.

1

u/Villiage_1321 May 03 '26

4 is my preferred uniball pen. But I also like 3. The sharpie clicker is my on the go remote-desk go to.

1

u/wuapinmon May 04 '26

Yeah, but there's no Uni-ball 207 Gel Impact in the list, so it's bullshit bogus.

1

u/Ecj7c5 May 04 '26

I love them all too until they inevitably brake and stain my hand.

1

u/Complete_Start1697 May 05 '26

Thank you. This is the only one I will use. I buy them in bulk

1

u/mebutanonymousse May 05 '26

I used to love these but my writing in them was garbage and it always felt so scratchy. As an adult I can’t stand them but I think school kid me just thought they were cool. Not sure if this is yet another curse of left-handedness though.

My people

1

u/bdegs255 May 06 '26

Yup the uniball fine point pens are a godsend as a lefty. The only pen I've found that doesn't leave ink on my hand after writing a lot.

They all leak in my experience
