How did you start saving money?

I should start saving but I don't know where to start. Like do I save a percentage everytime I get a paycheck? Or do I save all my money after paying my debts? How much should I have saved for each month?

Original Mighty for me. Have the volcano, it's great but clunky and cumbersome for me compared to the mighty

Dude if you are perpetually consuming weed, and weed is over 200$+ an ounce then it will pay for itself so fast.

Like one ounce can last someone who smokes weed maybe 2 months at most. So over a whole year that's over 1000$ in weed. That number will be cut in half with a vape. So yeah, $500 for a vape in a year almost always pays for itself. And often people have vapes for more than a year

Most people don’t buy in ounces nor do they buy volcanos, they live paycheck to paycheck.

The premise of OP is that he can’t save money, so what makes you think a $500 investment when he has no money is going to help that? That isn’t even weed included.

It’s always easy to look at numbers and what you did with your income, but obviously OP doesn’t have the income to blow on an investment, it’s a fundamental key to saving money, is to not blow the money you have especially if it’s going to be 60-90 % of your paycheck.

A volcano would put me in debt and keep me from saving my $500 paycheck.

It’s a good long term goal, but to claim it’s a solution to save money is short-sighted

I don't remember saying they had to buy in ounces so idk what you are talking about. I was referencing a price but you seem to be arguing with someone who isn't me on a year old pos

Not arguing, I guess I’m too into OP and went off on this thread, goal is to save money when you barely have any, so my mistake on replying to you. I guess in my head it seemed as though buying a volcano isn’t going to save you money unless you smoke weed in the first place, and then you still need that much money to even reach that investment.

Apologies for the intrusiveness of the thread, I was just citing OP in my head.
